Cool armors. Is there a tutorial or something out there on how to create armors using vanilla assets? Because I would like to create some armors too combining pieces of vanilla outfits.

I was basically dicking around but I was inspired to do it with vanilla assets via tammer, really good modder though left nexus, he hosts his mods now on his own site, either way his tutorial

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u3T3vHCt1c

it is different from how i do it though, way i do it is through outfitstudio, geck, and bethesda archive extractor (BAE)

      1. use BAE on new vegas and whatever else you wanna take assets from, i have it and most of the DLCs extracted, and each in their own folder
      2. use outfitstudio and dick around with the parts, if you have an idea already then look for parts that best fit, or do what looks better, depends
      3. geck can let you take those meshes you made (make sure you put them not just in a seperate folder but also put said folder in meshes, however you wanna sort it, i sort it by outfit in meshes but not armor, but you do you), take an armor closest to the stats you wanna use

BUT FIRST MAKE SURE THE ID IS DIFFERENT, FTLOG YOU DO NOT WANNA OVERWRITE THE OUTFIT UNLESS ITS A REPLACER

      4. go through with the models (masc, fem, and dropped, also you can nag a few icons closest to the outfit i.e courier duster/bounty hunter duster for a duster outfit) in the little menu in geck, do ok, test ingame after saving the esp in the data folder for new vegas, and modify, fix clips, etc, and then post on nexus or wherever you wanna post mods, idk, hell maybe even special sites

probably sounded nonsensical but hey, this is why Tammer is the one making hour long tutorials and not tutorial comments in a nexus mods forum, also go to the geck wiki too, hell i'll probably put a few links to bits and things that have helped me with my... soon to be 3 mods

generally, just check if you're confused, how i did it, but hey if you wanna go through everything, well means more views to the respective folk and... idk what the wiki would get tbh, more site viewage? idk i dont design websites

Some solid nif-bashing here.  Not sure what I'm going to use them for, but nice work!

Damn good looking armors ! I just wished there was a version without the pipboy for the radius mod, but otherwise, one of the best !

      thamk

actually lemme see what i can do in terms of that mod then, always nice to have things compatible with eachother, amirite?

edit: that was quick and painless, really only had to patch radwanderer's arm, not sure why i didn't think to do it before anyway but, welp, 1.01 should be up real soon
