I've gone though the installation process but I keep having crashes. If I have DXVK enabled it black screens until it crashes, there is sound coming from the game though. If I disable it it crashes around the same time as before but the game has the start cards until it gets to the image of where the main menu should be then crashes. I am using AMD. I did check the AMD radeon change log for my current driver and there does seem to be an issue with Fallout New Vegas atm so maybe that is my issue and I'll have to wait until a fix is implemnted.
Do you have New Vegas Reloaded, 4GB patch installed, downloaded all stuff in the requirements section, launch the game through wild card FNV and not the launcher or NVSE?
I must of forgot to do the 4gb patch. I can start a new game but DXVK 2.3.1 lags my game to like 1 fps and 1.10.3 and 1.10.1 still has a black screen but the game doesn't crash anymore.
On my end, no DXVK version is working. I can't even get to the main start menu, the game crashes instantly with ANY version provided. I have NVIDIA. Disabling DXVK entirely fixes it.
I have a personal load order I've built myself however, and I use DXVK there with no issues. What gives? DXVK doesn't work specifically with this modlist, but works in other load orders and in a fully vanilla game, so I'm 100% sure it's the modlist's fault.
EDIT: I removed DXVK and could play for a bit. There's a million issues here: framerates dropping to 25-30 in intensive combat is laughably bad. 45-50 in normal gameplay is unacceptable as well. Visual glitches are very common. And the biggest problem: the game looks uncanny, not like the FNV we know and love. One thing is enhancing the lesser parts of the original, the other is ruining what it does well. Character Kit Remake doesn't belong in this game, everyone looks like a Fallout 4 reject instead of a NV character.
Nights aren't dark, they're blue... Seriously dude? The Strip looks like a nuke going off if seen at a distance, it just looks terrible. The UI looks awful because of the VUI+ Extension, which makes some menus bigger than they should (Just Loot Menu in specific is atrocious). This is probably the worst looking M.U.X preset of all, too.
It also sucks we can't have all of this, but without NVR. The game crashes for me without NVR, which is disappointing. NVR is mediocre at best, and tanks performance like crazy. I get 100-120fps on a heavily modded setup while in intensive combat with lots of NPCs, but get 40-50 with Wild Card in casual Wasteland exploration. It's unplayable, anything below 60 is ridiculous in this day and age. If I walk sideways, I see A LOT of stuttering...
I'm gonna use the mods and tweaks I did enjoy from this setup, and drop in my personal game. As a whole package, this modlist isn't very good however, mostly due to terrible performance.
REMEMBER GUYS 3.3.3 TTW DOSE NOT WORK WITH THE CURRENT VERSION OF WILD CARD OR ELSE YOU WILL BE STUCK IN LOADING SCREEN HERE IS THE LINK TO THE OLD VERSION GET IT WHILE YOU CAN !!!!
Real as fuck. First Wabbajack list I've ever tried after modding for 6 years at this point.
I've been trying to get this jalopy to go past the main menu all day, have reinstalled it twice and have been tweaking it every way I know how and followed every instruction I've seen on these posts, the install guide and the discord and the game still crashes before getting to the main menu.
I could have downloaded 2-300 mods the normal way and have it working by now. And that's what I'm going to do.
Imagine getting a picture book and still not having the reading comprehension needed to install such a simple list.
Pro tip, a Wabbajack list for FNV isn't really feasible due to the sheer number of hardware configs that exist and the various driver incompatibilities that come with it. For example, some users will have to downgrade GPU's for the game to work at all, others will have to run a specific version of DXVK... AMD tends to have the most trouble.
I will agree on the guide needing a bit of polish. For example, it tells you to enable OneTweak but then when you replace modlist and loadorder in a later step OneTweak is disabled. Better instructions on how to enable control support and changing the binds would be ideal, but it's also easy to figure out yourself.
Finally, I personally wouldn't use DXVK if you can avoid it. Skip Reshade and NVR (do not skip modlist/ loadorder though), and then disable EVP-NVR Patch, Atlas, Vibrant Blue Preset, and Real Time Reflection (or tweak it to non NVR settings). Won't look as good, but it would be more functional for most.
-In the game, you can open up the MUX editor menu by pressing F11 - With your mouse, click on the top left icon, then click on "Mod Configuration" - Then click on MUX Series Core - Then click on "Page" - Then click on "Editor" - Scroll down till you see "Quest" and disable it.
TO REMOVE FLOATING HEALTH BARS:
-While still in the MUX editor, there is a search bar - type in "NPC" - One of the results will show and be "NPC : Enable" - Disable that option and the health bars disappear.
Hitting the dougie hitting the dougie modlist hittin the dougie doesn't work everything is installed correctly hit the douige reading is a lost art lol funny man get of ya pc buddy
I cannot get reshade working at all. I'm using DXVK so im choosing vulcan to render but the game wont even launch and displays the error "failed to initialize renderer" dx9 doens't do anything at all.
For anyone having problems with main menu go to the discord and in general the pinned comment has old build. Does not work with 3.3.3 you will have a main menu with no options. This is your PSA your welcome :D Enjoy
Hello, Be aware that the latest version of ttw is 3.3.3 which is not compatible with wildcard. Just thought I'd save you a ton of time since it's widely known in the discord but no where is it posted here.

edit: and I did try reinstalling the mod + disabling and reenabling archive invalidation and the issue still persists
