If that is the goal of that mod, probably not. I aimed to strike a balance between realistic and gameplay friendly. I'd say it's near impossible to get a truly "realistic" setup with most anything in this game without balance issues. Even 100 lbs feels super unrealistic, but at the end of the day this is a videogame and there needs to be some compromise for gameplay effectiveness. I just feel that the carry weight is lazily implemented and gives players no incentive to really care about strength unless it's for melee purposes. This remedies that, and maintains a more focused RP experience by forcing the player to truly figure out what kind of loadout/equipment they'll be carrying based on their stats/Chosen RP.
P.S. you can check the weights in the scriptrunner txt if you stick with this. Super easy to check and make any desired changes :)
I want the changes to item weights. This mod covers much more items than Misc items weight redefined so I want to install this mod first (since it covers a lot of items) and then overwrite it with Misc items weight redefined which covers less items but probably has better precision when it comes to realism.
No, it doesn't. Carry weight changes apply to all actors in the game. That's intended, otherwise this mod would be pointless if your companions could haul everything for you still.
Is companion suite in YUPTTW because I don't really have anything else modifying carrying capacity except this mod and my companions don't seem to be able to even hold things I have taken from their inventory.
Companions have negative carry weight. I dont know why? I saw the other comment on it about companion suite but i dont have that mod? Im assuming its some other mod modifying companion specifics?
Yes, it is definitely a conflict. I've tested several times and it works as intended. Also, Companion Suite is part of Unofficial Patch NVSE Plus. You can disable it in the mod's INI file. That is likely what is causing the conflict if you have that mod.
Vortex is a mess that doesn't work half the time. You're gunna have to reinstall the game and all your stuff, which sucks, but is far far far less worse compared to the endless headaches Vortex will cause you moving forward.
Absolute legend! This is a definite main stay in my load order as theres simply no other mods out there that let the user change carry weight values as an espless mod, so thanks for this!
This is so funny, this is exactly the same carry weight formula that I personally use. It works perfectly with encumbrance-adding backpack mods in my experience. I was just getting back into setting up a new playthrough of FNV so it's a great coincidence that you've come along and made my preference ESPless!

edit: 50k capz!
Installed via vortex, carry weight is still 190
Any idea how to work it?
