I have an idea for Meyers. One small quest, a ghoul dressed in a suit stands near Primm entrance. He asks you for help to enter Primm, because he's been aggresive in Vicky and Vance casino, So Meyers will judge him if he will see Ghoul (Ghoul will act aggresively to Meyers so Meyers will kill him) And you have two opnions , to ask Meyers to let ghoul in with speech check (50) or lie to the Ghoul that he can enter Primm safely . As reward for 1st variant you get 100 caps and unique suit of ghoul ( barter +5 ) for 2nd you get - karma and you can loot his body
I had an idea for Meyers. If you have Outside Bets and Uncut Wasteland, which add cut content back into the game, there is a cutscene where Meyers makes some Powder Gangers his deputies and for the rest of the game a militia of reformist Powder Gangers patrol the town. If you wanted, you could do something similar with them, and have it so they give you quests to kill Vipers, Jackals or rival Powder Gangers who terrorize the town.
Meyers is a great opportunity for an anti-NCR option. there's all sorts of potential there. Rangers have been seen skulking around at night. there's an NCR spy in the Vicky and Vance casino . They're are skilled chem makers with us, but do we sell to to fiends or the followers of the apocalypse or maybe *gasp* the NCR? Maybe if the powder gangers take over of prim was so successful, maybe they should take Sloan.
in the wiki there is this info "A cut speech exists within the game's files, meant to be delivered by Meyers to a small group of inmates close to Meyers should the player character recruit him to be the Primm's new sheriff. In it, Meyers calls upon the other inmates to join him in forming a new police force in Primm, calling them "honorable and looking for redemption" despite not having "experience with law enforcement... at least not on the enforcement side."" so i guess that could be added back, they should not be hostile to the player if the player is enemies with the powder gangers tho, since they would be leaving the gang behind to become good guys
In game characters describe Meyer's law as hard, ruthless, I don't know how realistic this is but if you need ideas for what happens when Meyer's becomes sheriff, maybe you can add random encounters/events in Primm where you see Meyer's/the militia there punishing/killing people for breaking the law.
I'm going to be honest I don't know. I have not used the mods you're asking about (I play vanilla New Vegas mostly) However my mod does use it's own scripts. The only thing from the base game that I have modified is the My kind of Town script to spawn NPCs and props when you finish the quest. So I would assume so.
