Hi, I have a really low tolerance, so I'll be blunt. I almost always have low health in fights, and in the middle of a tense battle, it really bothers me to hear voices repeating themselves four or even five times in a span of three or four seconds. Fix that. On the other hand, the hallucinations and the drug effects are fine, but it happens very often and it's painful to look at. Fix the timings or give me the option to change them in Ini Files.
It's a good mod with potential, but it's extremely repetitive and constantly wants to make you notice it's there. It should be very casual, or at least let you configure it that way. 6/10
Well let me also be blunt and tell you that you should really learn how to read before coming here and making demands like "fix that >:(", because it's already possible to configure everything you mentioned. Think the voices play too often? Lower the chance of them playing in the ini. Don't like visual hallucinations or some other feature? Turn it off in the ini.
The only thing that'll make it better is more voice lince! Voice Actors did a fantastic job! I particularly like when they are "arguing" :D
Maby a new set of triggers for voices? Like Dehydration, Hunger and Sleep Deprivation at really high lvls would make them say things?
I really loved the "Comment" on the Megaton when I first entered the Town, more of that would be cool ^^
A Visual Hallucinations of People you killed (Like Important Characters) or witness die, when you are at your lowest - Like, Father, Benny, maybe dead companions that didn't survive the Hardcore?
Perks? Like "MAD MAX" Inspired, Challenge Perks that is, like "Survive 10 days on Insanity" or something, would unlock a new voice, that's "supportive", feeding into the delusions :D
An easter egg or few, while talking to Mad NPCs? (Like one of your voices agrees with what they say, or "translates" it?)
All and all, love the mod! Will keep tracking and can't w8 to see what else you got in mind ^^ Kudos 🖤
ok, not posting this to bugs as im not sure, but it seems stealth boys adds a stacking stealth bonus that is permanent, at least for the ui . started on my fresh ttw playthrough, and 150 hr in, i have now have a 500+stealth bonus on the skills pipboy menu, not sure if its just a minor stat sheet error bug, (as when leveling up it shows the correct stealth skill amount) or incorrect numbers added ?. im pretty sure this is the only mod that touchs stealht boys/stealth.
That's definitely not caused by MSS, because I didn't touch stealth boys at all. The sanity adjustment on stealth boy usage is fully scripted, no vanilla records are affected. Are you using the UI addon by any chance? Many users have reported to me over the past few months about various issues they had with that mod.
yes im using it, interesting mod but sucks its buggy. il remove it to double check, perhaps you could combine the mods so it doesnt have conflicts ?, what the mod adds feels like it should be included in the main release or a option in a ini, if you want to.
I have very mixed feelings towards this mod so far. On one hand - non-quest related voices and neutral sounds/screams (not audio-visual hallucinations, though) are getting annoying after short time, as they often play without any contextual background, and if they hit - it's like a thousand monkeys with thousand typewriters. But on the other hand - PTSD stuff and cyberpsychosis hits hard, and on top of being amazing indicators, they add so much to the mental expression. Hearing General Chase talking about real blood as you finished off couple of raiders? Having a PTSD from the Pitt's arena as you managed to survive an encounter with Enclave? It's real amazing.
But... yeah. I'd wish there was a version that won't stop giving me stupid self-harm suggestions most of the time.
I started playing with this last night and it hasn't been scaring me much in game, but I find that once I'm not playing the game, I feel the anticipation of the hallucinations from the game. That's kinda fucked up and I don't know whether I love that or hate that. Also I was converting fuel for my Frontier car in my Springvale garage and one of the voices loudly proclaimed that what I was doing is boring and I laughed out loud. Also, how easy would it be to add new triggers and such to things like The Frontier? It'd be really cool to have integration there too.
I use this mod in my game, and some of the things really scared me despite making no sense. I panicked when I was being attacked by a deathclaw in POINT LOOKOUT. And that black creature with a duck like face(at least that's what I saw) made me double check multiple times, just to make sure that nothing was there and that it wasn't some glitch. Piękny mod, Majowskim

This is probably my last big update. From now on it's just bug fixes and stuff. See patch notes below. Enjoy!

The hallucination where a ghoul spawns and runs at you will crash my game once it gets close.
