-------------------------------------------------- Description --------------------------------------------------
  • This mod adds a gallows and three nooses of varying lengths with idle animations and scripts to simulate a hanged corpse.
  • Read the Docs tab for more information about editor IDs.

-------------------------------------------------- How to use--------------------------------------------------
  • WastelandHanged NPCs already have the necessary script and package, HangedVictimScript and GallowsToLinkedPackage, respectively. Just add a gallows or noose as the linked ref to the NPC.
  • If you're using a different NPC:
  • Give the GallowsToLinkedPackage (or similar, its a very simple package) to the target NPC
  • Place and assign a gallows or noose as the linked ref to the target NPC
  • To simulate a corpse the target NPC should have the HangedVictimScript.
  • The NPC needs to be able to access the gallows or noose.
  • During runtime the target NPC will walk to the gallows or noose and enter it.

-------------------------------------------------- Known Issues --------------------------------------------------
  • If you use COC into an area with the furniture the animation sometimes won't play. I don't know why — I hate it, I hate working with animations.
  • Sometimes the animation won't start. This may be due to Navmeshing, NPC or furniture placement, or the NPC just needs a nudge.
  • Hanged NPCs lack collision while in the gallows and nooses.
  • "Talk to " still appears when looking at a hanged NPC.
  • Hanged NPCs can't be pick pocketed, though this could be changed by editing the HangedVictimScript
