1) To organize your mod files, copy them all into a single folder and create subfolders as desired. You can name the files and folders however you like. Next, open a new Notepad document. The first row of the document should always contain the name of your mod. Make sure this name is identical for every configuration file.
2) Insert required information for every file: - The first row should indicate the file type by its extension inside square brackets [ ], e.g., [DAT] for data files, [DDS] for image files, [CPK] for package files, or [DLL] for executable files.
- The second row should specify the path to the file within the archive. For files in the root folder of the archive, just list the filename. For files in subfolders, provide the path relative to the root folder, using backslashes to separate folders, e.g., "subfolder\file.dat".
-The third row should specify the path to the folder where the file should be installed.
For data files, this should be the path relative to the root folder of the game, using forward slashes to separate folders, e.g., "data\pl\pl000d.dat".
For .dds write just FAR_RES dds name e.g. 54DEFAB.dds.
For .cpk third row should specify the path to the modloader CPK folder where the file should be installed. The path should start with "data\mods\cpks" and include the name of your mod followed by an underscore and an incremental number starting from zero, e.g., "data\mods\cpks\ModName_0.cpk". If you have additional CPK files, increment the number accordingly.
For .dll third row should specify name of the mod, including the ".dll" extension, e.g., "ModName.dll".
- The fourth row should specify whether the file may conflict with other mods or not. If there is a possibility of conflict, set this to "true", otherwise, set it to "false". So .cpk,.dll always false, .dds,.dat,.dtt always true.

3) Save the document by going to "File" => "Save As" and saving the file as "Name.namh". WARNING!!!!! Name.namh NOT Name.namh.txt." If you have multiple ".namh" files, NAMH will allow the user to choose which configuration to use, so be sure to name your configuration files something understandable for the user.

I finally discovered how to make it work with reshade: On a new installation, first install your reshade with your preferred preset, depending on the version of reshade you use, a .dll (dxgi.dll or reshade.dll) will be generated, simply rename it to d3d11.dll (and save it in a game folder, after activating FAR return it) Then go to NAHM and activate FAR and LODMOD (RESHADE must be kept OFF) and FAR generates by default a .dll also called dxgi.dll, causing conflict with newer versions of reshade and finally enter the dxgi.ini file that is automatically generated when actives FAR and change to this:
could you please elaborate on that step by step? Do I need to install reshade from reshade.me first then run NAHM or what? When exactly should I activate reshade in NAHM and when activate FAR? Thanks.
Install NAHM and disable the plugins (FAR or LODMOD) make sure dxgi.dll is not in your game folder; Then install your preferred reshade configuration and then activate FAR and LODMOD in NAHM and finally overwrite it with these files: https://www.mediafire.com/file/thhg8t6g6hw0puh/NieRAutomata+-+Reshade+6.1.1.rar/file
Why I can't open the launcher after installing it? I did it 3 times but I still can't open the launcher. Even I tried to remove the mod and reinstall the game, but it's still not working. Please, help me :(
image!!! An error appears during installation. can anyone help. I don't know much about this topic. I'm attaching a screenshot. (pirated version of the game)

If you find yourself having a black screen after a fresh install of NAMH and don't use reshade, open dxgi.ini and remove [Import.ReShade64] and the four lines under it. Seems to solve the issue for me.

that's it, you will have to repeat everything every time you install a new preset
