Hi, sorry for late reply. I use the HD texture pack, which affects character models as well.

is it possible for no grass? i rather play the game with no grass than to see shimmering grass.

There is no "no grass" mod at the moment, but you can intentionally break the existing mod to get rid of grass. To do this; rename or delete bgd000.dat while keeping bgd000.dtt. This is not a perfect solution since it can introduce some extra bushes in the place of the grass, but it's not that common.

      Hola,
Puede arrastrar y soltar la carpeta "bg" en la carpeta "data" ubicada en el directorio del juego

Hello, thanks for the mod, but I have trouble figuring out what is the most detailed one. Is it the Optimised?

Hi, the "Optimized" bundle includes optimized version of the original grass model. If you are looking for the closest match to the original look, then this file is for you ^^

Rest of the files are optional addons to base file (Optimized) to maximize performance based on the preference.

Thanks for the High Performance Grass mod! Besides improving performance, it also feels more denser and the color blends more naturally to the ground compared to vanilla. In Park Ruins, the grasses are still same as vanilla, will they be replaced too?

Thanks for pointing them out. I guess they are the same model with different ID and color, so i have to dig the game files in order to locate them. But they are not that dense in that area which sould not cause much of a performance issue. Maybe a lazy response on my side, but i believe they are adding variety to grass :P

Do you have plan to optimize something else or you just going to update your mod with what already have ?

Planning to do more, but some objects like bigger trees do break when i try to optimize them. A group of 2D leafs on a medium sized tree (ones you see in the mall) has unnecessary amount of polygons(some have 110, some have lot more). It's a shame because they look bad while having 30.000+ polygons per tree.

I wish you luck with your work and waiting for new update. Cause i dont have good computer, but game runs at comfortable 27-35 fps.
Hey, can you do the same thing but for nier replicant ? I have fps problem only when use book skills, so problem with effects.

I do not own a copy of Replicant. And unfortunately i do not have knowledge on it's inner workings since they do not use the same engine.

Is it possible to create a mod that completely remove Shadows from the game? I think most fps drop are caused by shadows.

I don't think so, but LodMod allows you to change (and reduce) shadow resolution.. It can boost FPS.

Any kind of shader toggler can do it.
So either SK or ReShade would both work. But.. are you struggling for fps that much? ._.
Reducing the res is for sure the nicer looking way of gaining a couple frames

Reduces the amount of polygons in commonly used models such as cars and foliage with minimal loss in detail while increasing performance
