I know this is a minor inconvenience but the save doesn't work apply the hide sub equipment mod from Koenji, if you could fix this would greatly appreciate it.
Go to the folder 000901F8B52696FA as explained by the mod author, in that folder there are two other folders with long numbers, here is the explanation:
Inside each folder there is a file with numbers, look at the weight of each file, in one folder there is one that weighs 11kb and in the other one that weighs 35kb, go to the mod folder, select the SYSTEMSAVE.DAT.sav file and copy it to the game folder where the 11kb file is and rename the SYSTEMSAVE.DAT.sav file with the number of the one in the game folder, also remove the .sav
Do the same with the 35kb file, only in this one you can choose one among several saves that the mod folder has, choose one and do the same procedure that I explained before.
Sorry if it is not clear as English is not my main language.
Works for me on Game pass. Trick is to progress to the first save point on the level you want to play .. then exit the game follow the directions. Then the trick is NOT to start a new game. Go to load and load that save you made. It will be changed. And people please stop asking for a video.. READ .. its a lost art form
thanks for including the save version with all weapons at level 1 and nothing else. Glad I have a way to start new run with different weapon from the start. it's baffling how that's not an option with all the game's version. I'm curious why those extra non existing weapons names are included? for future proofing? because they just freeze the game if I accidentally select them now. anyway to removed them?

"EEC8BB5C62534B4FA1A45DECCE05EA05"is for SYSTEMSAVE folder. Replace the random string name file with SYSTEMSAVE.DAT.sav.
