modified keybind file with "Select" bind to "BACKSPACE" so you can exit to the main menu with (hold) ALT + BACKSPACE in Sigma 1: https://www.mediafire.com/file/3l59zzgupnebmmw/Default.ini/file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ej6Q7NuNUIC6oaVNV3xQQA7OgGiTwwQy/view?usp=sharing
just follow the install guide from the mod page, then replace the default.ini file with mine, run the game and then run the program, it should work fine then
For some reason, it detects the WASD, 1 (as w) and 4 (as S), and for some reason 9 (as it allows me to move past the title screen in sigma 1) but nothing else, after im in the menu no key does nothing other than the WASD and 1 and 4, i replaced the config file but still nothing happens, anyone knows why? Edit: i figured it out, the OP config uses numerical values, however in an update to the emulator, it changed to the name of the keys, so OP's config broke, you need to manually change the numerical values for the name of the key that you want.
Hmm it's not working for me. I did everything according to the description. Installed ViGEmBusSetup and Redistributable. Extracted DS4 emulator and replaced the config file with yours. Launched Ninja Gaiden , Alt+Tab out of the window , and ran the ds4emulator.exe and went back into Ninja Gaiden game. Now the prompt "connect a controller " is not showing in the game , but at the Start Screen , no matter which button ( according to the button config you shared ) I press , I am not able to progress and am stuck at that start screen. According to the config , "Tab" is supposed to be the start button , but it doesn't do anything. Did I miss any step ? Can you please help.
Try pressing "space" as that's supposed to be "X" (according to PS layout). If "please connect controller" prompt disappeared then the game is detecting a controller. Does it give you a notification on steam saying "gamepad connected"?. If so then pressing space or any other key should pull you from title screen to main menu. Also another possible reason maybe that you have not installed drivers via steam controller settings. To install drivers: Click on steam on the top-left corner of steam client and go to settings>>controller>>genral controller settings and check on all boxes.
It says that the VigEmBus file can only be installed on Windows 10 and i'm running 7.If that's true then it would be good to put this info in the description.Thanks.
So I've done everything and I'm trying to play NGS2. It's not working. The program is being ran as administrator. The program works and I am in the controller mode, since I need to hold C to be able to move my mouse. But when I go in game the inputs aren't registering. I made a folder on my Desktop where I put the DS4 emulator and so on, along with the custom keybinds config file. Did I do something wrong? Does the config file have to be in the Steam's NG game root folder? I have no idea what to do.
the config file i uploaded needs to replace the config file in the DS4 emulator folder. The files can be anywhere, they dont need to be in NG's root folder.
If you still face issues, try checking your steam controller settings for NG.
