Since the update, for settlements, I noticed it is not working the way that it used to. Example: Population Say it is 29/100 We used to be able to make it say 95/100 Changing the 1st number from 29 to 95 (which is residents) However now it is changing the 2and number (total population) Example: 29/100 to lets say 29/200 The same is happening with the rest as well. Example: Under the Settlement Features Where there are red negative attributes, when adding any of the positive attributes, it only adds them, it no longer negates the ones in red (and the ones in red no longer go away or get negated by any new ones). Example: Citizens Are All Clones = Increases Sentinel Attention (or) Dancing Is Banned = Reduces Citizens Happiness (both negative attributes) When adding positive attributes, now all it does is add them, however, it no longer negates the old negative ones (now there are bullet pages below them) and arrows to the left and right to sift through them. The same is happening also with Happiness, Productivity, and Maintenance Cost. Example: If I make Happiness 100 (which used to make it 100%) now its like 256% Same with the others I mentioned above. It is just adding to it, not actually making it the number I choose (or want) it to be. Anyhow, I just wanted to make you aware so you can let me know how to do it differently, or maybe the mod just needs updated to the new major update we just received (I know it takes about a week or so for mods to get updated to get all the bugs and kinks worked out) Thanks again! ***UPDATE*** Also since the new update we can only access one settlement (the drop down is greyed out) and ironically its the new one. I cannot access the old one lol.
Hello! I hope you're all doing well.I'm trying to use NomNom to transfer my assets (starships, exosuit, freighter, frigates, squadron, and multitool) from one save to another, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to import the backups properly into a new save. When I create backups using the “Backup” button in each section, NomNom automatically generates a folder structure like this:NomNom-win-x64-stable-portable └── current └── collection ├── Freighter → .frt file ├── Frigate → .flt files ├── Outfut → .ott file ├── Squadron → .sqd files ├── Starship → .shp files ├── Vehicles → .exo files └── Weapon → .mlt fileSo far, everything seems fine on the backup side. But when I load my new save in NomNom and go, for example, to the Starship tab, there's only a button to create new backups — I don't see any way to import an existing one from that folder structure. No menu, no import button, no way to load the .shp file or others.Am I missing a step?Is there a proper way to load or apply these backups to a new save? Thanks so much in advance for your help! 🙏Any guidance would be very appreciated.
Any chance we could use this to add a freighter in Abandoned mode? I far prefer the flow of Abandoned, but the game without a Freighter feels really clunky. Given how difficult adding/importing ships can be, I understand if it's not possible at this juncture. Either way, fantastic tool for figuring out what may be going wrong with a save!
Just wanted to ask this before I download it. I went to get the dependency for this, and this is what their page has at the top in red: This release has reached end of life, meaning it is no longer supported. We recommend moving to a supported release, such as .NET 9.0. See our support policy for more details. So my question is if that is the case, will it still work after the next update, and or is your mod supported by any other versions currently that are supported and not at its end of life? Thanks ahead of time.
I can assure you older .Net frameworks are important. One of the greatest flaws of the cult of 'new tech good! legacy tech bad!' is that certain previous releases do certain things better than newer ones, and will always do so due to focus or implementation. Think of it like this; if someone invents a new tool called a 'CryptoBezel!!! You will never need a wrench again!'
Would you be interested in throwing all your wrenches away?
Microsoft is in the process of culling a lot of its human programmers and implementing some very questionable design decisions. The warning they have is perfunctory, e.g. they're absolving themselves of all potential issues you may potentially face and ensuring they have no liability - which means if you find a flaw because it is and remains old software, you can't blame them.
But many of us have .Net Framework 6, and we haven't spontaneously combusted, promise! c:
Hi, one question. Does this mod allow me to edit a mission that the game marks as completed, but isn't actually completed? It's the Anomaly mission, in which a new system for the Autophages is created. I was supposed to move the Anomaly station to that system, but I forgot, and now it no longer appears in the Star Routes. That's why I can't use the Anomaly portal anymore. By not completing the mission, it's marked as dissonant and unusable. Maybe resetting the mission can fix it. It's 300 hours of gameplay. The program is very good for other things, though, not as an editor, that's why I ask. Good work, and I hope you understand, since this is a translation. Regards.GOOGLE TRANSLATED SPANISH - ENGLISH
Hi! Will there ever be a way to add the titanic trophy to our inventories as an item? If there already is I can't find it for the life of me I know we can add the wrecked ships but I can't find the trophy outside of unlocking it which isn't my goal

Since the new update, I can only access one settlement and edit it, the drop down menu is grayed out and I cant edit my other settlements.
Also everytime i use the "unlock all" feature to unlock all words for each race, the NOM just crashes, i have to go 1 by 1 and tick each word.
