I no longer update my NMS mods because somebody decided to hijack one and post it as his own. The Lua files are available in the Lua Script Repository maintained by Babscoole. He has maintained them fairly well given my lack of doing so.
not sure how to compile but after a hour of (unsuccessfully) trying to extend power from my base (near a s class cadmium that took a hours to find) to a power place 1.5 k away bit over some of that part of the game. Would kill for someone to update this or make a new one.
I'm having issues with it as well, but tbqh I'm too lazy to try using the lua thing. Still too new to this game. If someone has it working on the current version, could you tell us whatcha did?
I don't really see it as a cheat per se either, because finding bases this way was actually how the original version of the game worked. Most people complained that they wanted to build bases where they wanted, so they removed this and replaced it with the ability to build a base anywhere.
Hey i am having a problem with my settlement where an incomplete building has clipped into the mountain. Could you please make a mod that will allow me to use my mining tool in settlement and flatten that mountain, or any solution that you can think of. Thanks
The current lua is 100% valid and creates an exact duplicate of the current mod .pak, does not need to be updated. Even though I checked back in June, I just double checked now. :)
Does this just help locate the 'wild' bases like this / create them? Either way, whenever this is disabled / becomes incompatible due to an update - is this still a permanent planetary change, or will it revert terrain?
you are a life saver.. for days...and days...and days i have been molding terrain. ruining my planet resetting it.. trying to find a spot for the base i had in mind...looked up the original mod...so out of date it just froze my game...then..i find yours...just randomly wasnt popping up before now it is...you are a saint..i could hug you...finally...i can make the base i had in mind without ruining my planet
i used to be a modder..back in the old days of star trek bridge commander red alert. and star trek armada..trust me i know how much it means..thats why i always post ;)
