how would I go about restoring the blue filter? I absolutely love the scan changes but also love the cheesy sci-fi scanner filter lol nvm guess I just skimmed over the reasoning in the description, pain x_x
I absolutely LOVE this mod, because it makes it quite OBVIOUS which things you haven't scanned yet. The original colors were far to close to sometimes be able to tell what was scanned and what wasn't.
Hello. I think mod might be broken after yesterday's update (GoG, 5.1.1_Worlds1_126423). I used lua script version to merge it with "Inventory Rebalance" as they modify same file and currently whole package is offline for me. I tested it as stand alone package as well and it's still not working.
It still works fine for me though, along 55 other of my mods I'm using in my own play sessions. Not sure about this Inventory Rebalance mod though as it's not one of mines.
Not sure why, but mod doesn't seem to work for me properly or I'm misunderstanding when it's supposed to work. When the zoom in/out animation plays, I can briefly see the bright green/red coloring, but doesn't hold into the main scan screen.
Confirmed issue persists with only the .pak file installed, no other mods.
hmm, it seems the new visor filter overrides the object highlight color. That's annoying. The only workaround I can see so far is opting for a clear visor mod in addition of this mod to get it working again.
How did you get it to work? I have the latest update installed and it still doesn't change colour/highlight. But I'm also using the experimental version. Is this a public version only mod?
Thank you for fixing this! I downloaded the update as soon as it was available and the coloours didn't change - I thought I must be going gaga! Happy to find out that I'm not gaga after all and the colours now show as they should! This has long been a favourite mod for me.
I love this mod, as it's one of the few that's remained up to date over the years and helps a lot with scanning. Thank you for your hard work!
A small request I have is to add a second version of this mod with a slightly sped up scan speed. I always end up wanting to install this mod alongside Exololar's Quick Scan mod (which also increases the duration of the scanned info panel) but then I have to go through the process of merging them. If it's too much trouble then don't mind me.
Unfortunately, Exosolar's mod does not include the color change effect your mod does, at least it's not listed in the description. gGame does have the scanner features I'm interested in, but it also includes a good handful of other changes I did not want to introduce into my game.

I am curious to know, is it possible to have these color popups show up while in the visor scan mode without having to have the cursor on a target?

Most of Lo2K's mods are in my load order.

Bigger creature dots, better scanning icons, better scan colors; all these are just objective improvements.
Then for subjective: Clear visor, instant scan..
..also doesn't help that none of the instant scanning mods have been updated for quite a while.
