    I'm desperately searching for a mod which allows me to use the Scan visor (Cargo caches and such) inside an Exocraft.

    This one is the closest workaround existing.
    Apparently it's only possible to Edit The "c" key scan with mods?
    Or someone would've done such a mod I'm sure. 20 mods to show Special locations such as crashed ships, I don't want that just yet though. Would be OP for my early game.
    Unfortunately I uninstalled because it didn't show cargo caches and would show different items than the visor. I think I've also seen it doesn't show burried bones. So it's back to exiting the Exo every time :D :s

    Thank you for your work on this mod.  I couldnt agree more with the multitool scan needing more use after the tutorials.
    Does this mod reduce the recharge time on the scanner by any chance? 

    All the mods I find on "instant" scanners are referring to the Visor analyzer. So its nice to see someone doing other scanner mods.

      It doesn't reduce the cooldown, but you can change the cooldown of it in the game itself inside the Difficulty Options menu, it's the "Scanner Recharge" option.

    awesome mod but I think it stopped working with the most recent update. I looked around my modlist and after some disabling and reloading game many times it stops working when this mod is enabled. just to let you know

      Yeah with this mod active, the intro screens (Hello Games, Havok, Wwise logos etc) are super tiny in the middle of my monitor, the sound is weirdly buzzy and when I start any game the zooming stars freeze after a few seconds and then the game crashes. I only use a handful of mods so it was pretty easy to figure this one was the cause. No idea why it would be though, you'd think something like a graphics mod would do that.

      After the most recent update, any mods which makes changes to GCUIGLOBALS.GLOBAL need to be updated, else you get the tiny screens.  Can do so yourself, using the mod .lua script and AMUMSS.

      I tried doing that and got about 30 errors. It's better to wait for the author to update the mod.

    Right, so I'm a little confused on how to use the mod. Do I just fly around a planet and use the ship scan to find curious deposits ?

      Sadly no, I tried to make that work, but due to the speed of the ship, the game doesn't show the icons of the scanned things fast enough, the only way to see them is if you fly really slow, at that point it's better to just run on foot.
      The ship part of the mod is just slightly increased scan range and you being able to scan more buildings at same time, everything else is to be scanned using the Pulse Scan (C hotkey) on foot.

    Thanks, but when installed I lose ... Buried Technology Module... showing when I use visor.

    How would I go about removing dihydrogen and the jetpack boost plants from scan?

    I wonder if anyone else gets the bug (in VR, didnt test desktop), where mining laser visual effects follow you everywhere (although not always), sometimes around you (dependent on vr hmd orientation), sometimes exactly at your location, with smoke in your face, rendering you almost blind...
    I do have lots of mods, built with AMUMSS, no errors.... so no idea what goes wrong, but removing this mod stops the issue.
    It was working ok till Voyagers update...(or was it 2023 holiday event? - anyways last quarter 2023)

    Seems like removing "Ship buildings range" section fixed it for me...

      Is your AMUMSS updated? I just ran the script and it went just fine.
      Either way I will update the pak.

      Nope. Same errors. But other parts of mod works fine, just sodium and oxy remove not worked. 
       could the fact that i extracted all the game .pak files in PCBANKS to GAMEDATA folder with psarc? But my game work fine.

      Check the "NMS_FOLDER.txt" on AMUMSS and see if it's pointing to the correct game folder, because that would be the only way it can't find the file.

      AMUMSS works fine, i've another mods merged with it. basic version of your mod work fine too.

      ok, I fixed it, I also have Auto Scanner Plus, creating patch with .lua and your .pak, made everything work)

    Hi, I have a suggestion: after installing this mod, scan for resources will depend on Pulse Scan, so can you create a mods to make the time it takes to display the scanned resources longer before it disappear, about 20 seconds ?

      You can use Exosolar's Quick Scan with Range Boost for that, by default it increases the display time of everything to 5 seconds, but you can edit the LUA and increase if you want to.
