I am, but not for NMS at the moment. I don't currently have the game even installed and am not sure if I'll ever go back to it at this point. I've got around 2,000 hours of playtime in, so that's no judgement on the game itself, just so many games to play (and mod) and NMS at this point is quite old.
Man these harvesters are really ass huh? I guess it's been 8 years, so they'll never be fixed. Hope this at least makes them palatable for a survivor playthrough before getting the new extractors.
Hey, just an FYI on todays update, your LUA file only contains 1 lua, the 1250 lua, and does not include the 2500 one as well. Not sure if this was intentional or an oversight as the description says: "Lua files only. Use only ONE of the included LUA files."
It was intentional, because anyone using the lua can just change the values to whatever they want, so I had scaled it back to just the one in the last update.
This update, however, I removed the LUAs from the main pak download 7z files, so I should probably include both in the LUA Only download at this point. I have re-uploaded with both of them. Thanks for saying something!
would this by chance fix the issue with harvesters needing you to literally sit there and do nothing but watch it make gas or risk losing the produced material? I am new to the game and am looking for bug fixes, and it is looking scarce as far as these things are concerned.
Unfortunately it doesn't fix that issue, but that is the reason I made the mod. If I am going to need to babysit the harvesters, then I need them to do their job faster.
I do regularly leave harvesters running when I go into space to do the derelict freighter in a system, and then go back to empty them when I finish the derelict. Doing that, with this mod installed, I've never had them empty on me.
Another thing that helps is to disable multiplayer when you use them, and to never use a teleporter or leave the system when they are running.
Hello mate, Im new to modding NMS and Im just stuck on how to edit the .lua to my liking and getting it to work... The mod itself works fine though I just cant edit the values
Hello! This great mod can help you with any Lua related problem. Site: https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/957 Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBr6Fgr8Zio&ab_channel=GamerPoets
In order to change values of a mod, you need to first edit the lua (with any text editor, like notepad) but then you also have to recompile it into a new .pak file. I'm guessing you had no problems with the first part, and just weren't aware of the second part.
The link provided by @aragamin explains how to do that. AMUMSS (his first link) is the tool I use to build all of my mods and it is quite simple to use, as shown in the video guide that he linked.

I'm not actively playing NMS right now, so can't update it at this very moment, but I did include the LUA if you want to update it yourself.

Thanks for your work!
