Just saw your recent Crystal modlet and came to check on this one. Good work btw, just wondering if you had more plans for this or more crystal formations?
Yeah, could be glowing embers, since it's a carbon/coal idea. Just a thought but from reds to black, or even better, like fire or yellow/orange to red and black veins or central glow with the black edges. Atm, there is still the red crystal underneath and you can see the glow or a kind of glow of red through the black on some. This mod could just brighten that effect, but would be cool for the other effects to happen with the model, like these inspirations:

And the last pic is showing *some* bit of glow, which is more common that the first but still not as common as the no glowing variants. I don't know the mechanics as to why they appear like that, but it is what it is currently. It is very faint. The large crystal left of center is the black carbon crystal and you can barely make out the glow. If the crystal was smaller, perhaps the glow would be more pronounced radiating from the center. Just guessing at the mechanic.
