I really enjoy the randomness of this mod. I was wondering if the owner would be willing to update it for the lastest version please?. It doesnt crash the game but it currently only lets me pass through a black hole not enter it. Nothing else installed.

15 warps, all Elucid at 714k. Just throws from one side to the other and never gets any closer to the centre.

not gonna lie this was my experience too, only Elucid and always about 1.3 million light years
  4. Mod Idea for you. Teleport to Nexus. Should be possible. When you teleport to someone's base from the Nexus, if gives you an option to teleport right bask to the Nexus. That must mean that that function is coded in. Would love to have that option.

    Thank you!

Do you know how random it actually is? I've jumped through 15+ black holes so far and it's only ever sent me to a random system in the 720k-700k LY range.
I have a sneaking suspicion the "random" you used is the one that picks a starter system for when you switch galaxies or maybe start a new save. Either that or the RNG just hates me.

The chances are hardcoded, only HG actually knows how random it is, all we know is that the chance exists. Some people said the chances are higher if you're closer to the galaxy core.
    2. I have found that no matter where you start from you always end up at a yellow star about 700k from the center. I have never landed in a new galaxy after dozens of jumps. Further, unless you disable the mod, you can not use black holes to get closer to the center of the galaxy. You always end up at 700k.

It is the starting system selector after all, for lack of a better name. On expedition saves you'll be back at the initial system every time, and if an expedition (like Blighted) requires you to enter a black hole the objective will not clear.

Disappointing. I wonder why an actually random warp is not exposed as an option, if it exists in the game's code at all.

The Random Warp exist in the game, but it's an space event, I just made Black Holes have the same effect of the random warp from the Relic Gates.

Yea, nexus being stupid as always, trying to make them revert it, I had 4 mods that randomly got quarantined.
I know if I delete the file and reupload it will work, but looks like it's a widespread issue, saw some people from the Skyrim part complaining about it too.

Yep, not the first time I've seen it happen - it's like the engine just picks a random day and says, "Everything uploaded today is suspect. Even the text files." =)
Glad you got it straightened out.

Can you make another pak that drastically increases the chance of winding up at a different galaxy?

I could check, but I don't know if that's possible, because the chance of it sending you to another galaxy might be hardcoded.

Damn, I hope it ain't. I traveled through 8 or 9 wormholes back to back with this mod and have yet to be sent to a different galaxy

I checked here and sadly looks like it is hardcoded in the game's executable, there is nothing in the game's files that controls where it sends you, which makes sense when you think about it, since the vanilla Black Hole is always fixed to every player.
This mod sends you to random places because there is something else in the game that also sends you to random places, the mod just makes the Black Hole do the same thing.
