Newish player here (under 500 hours). Haven't done much with these other than save them from pirates. Where do you land? I flew around both big parts and never saw the green rings. I really want to try this mod (as I died on my first freighter), but can't see where to land.
There are two kinds of derelict freighters IIRC. The old type which have cargo pods you can destroy and the newer type you can land on, There is a set of four landing pads near the bridge on these.
