This mod increases the Salvaged Data cost of all base building blueprints available at the Construction Research Unit, making the building progression system slower and more rewarding. It's designed for players who want a more meaningful and deliberate base-building experience.

Depending on the version you download, Salvaged Data costs are multiplied by x2, x3, x5, x10, x20, or even x100 – pick the level of challenge that fits your playstyle.


πŸ“¦ What’s affected:

  • Blueprint unlocks at the Construction Research Unit (base building parts)
  • All structures that normally require Salvaged Data
  • Building items in categories like Structures, Tech, Decoration, Industrial, etc.
❌ What’s not affected:

  • Any items that cost Nanites (e.g. Space Anomaly upgrades)
  • Narrative or mission-based blueprint rewards
  • Freighter or starship building systems
  • Exocraft and multitool tech
  • Portable refiners, save beacons, and tech learned outside the Construction Terminal

The goal is to slow down base-building progression and make Salvaged Data more valuable and meaningful during exploration.
