For those that had previous versions of this mod and updated to the a new one, delete the mod folder before extract the new version. That's because previous versions used MBIN and the new one uses EXML. When extract the new version, the MBIN and EXML versions stills in the same folder, confliting and make the mod to not work.
I think all MODs that have been updated will experience the same problem.
I don't understand how this is supposed to work. The instructions could be more clear, that's for sure. I keep trying, and even asking AI for help, but nothing seems to work. I get sent to folders and files that don't exist, despite following what few vague instructions there are.
I updated the mod. You need to extract the zip file to the "steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS" folder. Run the game, and quit. Go to the folder "steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS" and open (edit) the file GCMODSETTINGS.MXML Locate the selected xxNanite Multiplier and change the priority to "0". <Property name="ModPriority" value="0" /> Save the file and launch the game again.
Just unzip the folder to "yoursteamdirectory"\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS. Locate the file GCMODSETTINGS.MXML inside the steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS, open with any text editor, and set priority to high (<Property name="ModPriority" value="0" />).
Sure. I updated the version, and I will try it. Remember: you must set this mod as priority 0 (top most priority). This must be the first mod in the listed in mod xml file.
EDIT: mod is working when play Expedition. Just tested it right now.This is how the mod (100x version) looks like in the GCMODSETTINGS.MXML: <Property name="Data" value="GcModSettingsInfo" _index="0"> <Property name="Name" value="100XNANITEMULTIPLIER" /> <Property name="Author" value="" /> <Property name="ID" value="0" /> <Property name="AuthorID" value="0" /> <Property name="LastUpdated" value="0" /> <Property name="ModPriority" value="0" /> <Property name="Enabled" value="true" /> <Property name="EnabledVR" value="true" /> <Property name="Dependencies" /> </Property>
I think everyone's playing their own way, you know?
I have 30ish hours in Abandoned Mode and I've enjoyed the challenge of nanites being difficult to acquire... but now I've survived the initial hurdles and challenges. I've done the nanite grinding, and now I want to speed things up, but I don't want to ruin the vibe of my game by making things too easy.
So a mod like this that offers higher nanite multipliers for players like you, and lower multipliers for players like me, is... very useful.
Sigh, what I get for playing in creative mode, just not used to the normal way. Since been using mods, been using the normal mode, lot of learning curves. You mentioned Nanite grinding? How does that work? Looked online for information, but many of them either did not work or too many conflicting views on it.

Locate the selected xxNanite Multiplier and change the priority to "0".
<Property name="ModPriority" value="0" />
Save the file and launch the game again.So, delete previous folder to install the new version.
Maintain the two files, may cause the mod to not work corretly.
EDIT: I didn't change the mod priority, I'll try later

Every upgrade requires nanites. Getting units is easy. Just wish they allowed players to go either way in upgrading to use either units or nanites.
