Sadly this and Lo2k's mod are not working anymore, due to a change with the shaders. Lo2k stated, that it is very unlikely that his mod get's an update and I think this will be the same with AlexKalopsia's mod. It would need a completely different approach now, to unstretch the hud. I think we can only hope somebody will get into this problem. At best somebody at the NMS Team!
I haven't looked into the update but - unless the entire menu system is being drawn in a completely different way, there might be a chance for this mod to survive 2.0
Maybe you and Lo2k could work something out together? :)
I have to thank you for your nice mod here, since i didn't already do that earlier. It really was working nice and made the game much more visually pleasing.
Unlikely, sorry :( The way the HUD is exposed in the game files is with direct coordinates, so it's basically really really difficult to rework everything for that res. Or, at least, not with the amount of time I have to upkeep the mod, sorry :'(
sadly unlikely :( All the mod does is reposition manually tons and tons of elements, so working with that res would be an insurmountable amount of work :(
Hi LordNecrotic! Yes, everytime there is a new update the mod dies unfortunately. I am currently waiting a bit until the NMS updates and bug fixes slow down. I don't want to find myself in the situation of having to push 10 different fixes! Sorry about this
I don't know what is wrong, but it does not work for me, at least it does not look like on your screenshots... any idea what to do? I am running the game 3440x1440 fullscreen. I am a bit confused, it seems like the mod is working? Without the mod the cards are all stretched but not anymore with the mod installed. Can you clarify what problem you have?
I'm currently trying to learn and modify this mod to support 5760x1080. So far, I've only got the network and voice menu to move around a bit. Not actually an improvement yet. So I don't know if AlexKalopsia has any tips on which values to change, it'll help me progress faster in this. OR even workflow improvements to faster test changes. Right now it takes about 2 mins to change a number and load the game to see if I changed anything, then go back and undo it and try another number.
Thank you for working on this kind of thing, the game is a space simulator, literally ASKING to support triple monitor. As a side idea, have you tried setting all your settings to the lowest? just to reduce load time
Oh! good idea, I have not tried that. I will do that for sure. That point is pretty funny, a simulator not compatible with triple monitor. I think it's pretty clear these guys have never done this sort of thing before. Are there any console commands to reload the graphics? maybe there is something similar to force re-drawing the HUD or menu's or, something. I guess what I'm getting at is if there is a way to tab out, make a change, tab back in and "re-draw" that would be ideal.
I don't know about any console commands, as I got the game only a week ago, have made pretty good progress though. Graphics wise, it's obvious they don't work much on it, seeing as you have to restart the game just to change from windowed to fullscreen
Hi Bricktone, unfortunately all the stuff done in this mod is literally hardcoding different values in all of those files that you can see within the pak file. It's a hell of a work. If it can be of any help, I tend to leave comments whenever I change a value (so if I change value=100 it becomes value=72 <!--100--> ). Another good mod is MOD.Riccaforte.RemoveIntroLogos which removes the initial splash screens (though you will still have to accept the Mod message.
I hope this helps a little bit, making such a mod is really tons of work
Hi boylego, realistically speaking I don't think that will happen. All of the editing on the interface is manually done (vs a calculated alignment) :( I also have less time to work on this than I initially had, I'm really sorry I wish I could be more helpful
The latest 'Visions' updates 1.75 causes Ultrawide No Man's Sky to CTD when entering, then leaving my ship aboard the freighter. Same for launching. I removed mods one-by-one clearing Shadercache each time, and this sadly is the cause.
I canna leave my freighter cap'n! At least, not unless I go super-wide-streched-why-the-f***-doesn't-hello-games-include-21:9-mode mode and play without this awesome mod.
Please halp!
EDIT: No, sorry, despite my A-B testing it appears this was not the source, bizarrely a mod 'updated' for 1.75 was the cause. Sneaky mods! Do please continue to work on this masterpiece though *offers beer and donuts and scantily clad women/men/carebears*

There is no longer a need for this mod!
So let's thank you for providing a solution for 21:9 monitor users, for such a long time!!!

I just want to ask if there is a Chance that this mod gets an update for the new 2.0 version?

Will you ever be adding 48:9 / eyefinity / surround support? Lo2K recently added support for his HUD mod, but only the HUD
