This is not the first mod I made, (made many, many of them for personal use for many different games, just never uploaded them since they mostly relied on other modders' assets) but it is the first mod I made from scratch (big deal, so what, you changed 2 values) and uploaded for others to enjoy.

Also I sorta "worked with" monkeyman192 to fix an MBIN compiler issue that was corrupting the re-compiling of one of the ENTITY files so I kinda felt proud of my lazy arse for once. XD
I hadn't noticed any glaring problems with other ship animations, but if someone notices something and I am able to, I can include more fixes in the future. I'll probably keep the mod updated as the public releases come out, probably...
How would one go about preventing a ship landing gear animation from taking place? In this case, I think the Starborn Runner looks better parked and with the glowing effects under it than folded in flight. Kind of like how in the early days, when the first exotic (royal) ships released, people were modding them so that the wings didn't completely extend vertically and stopped the animations about midway so that they extended only horizontally, like normal wings on a plane.
I think this mod is only functioning mod currently version. So... can you update this mod? Currently, there is a phenomenon in which the pirate system cannot enter the pirate station, and warp is impossible in the pirate system.
the haulers seem to have the same problems (view on the station landing pads, i didnt look on the npc planetary landing pad / player base landing pad yet )
edit : see on npc ship i try to find a new ship now ;)
I'll see what I can do about adding the haulers to the mod as well if their landing gear deployment animation is also too slow when landing in the wild.
I'm on experimental, I'll give it a go and see if it changes anything.
Edit: I'm having trouble understanding what actually changes whenever I land any of my two exotics on a landing pad. I tried to see a difference in my base landing pand and I don't think I've seen any, maybe it's different landing on the ground? Or a station? I'll keep testing it.
Edit 2: If you meant literally the "landing gear" coming out faster then I think it's working, that opens up fairly quickly. If I recall correctly it used to take a bit longer. If that's so then I guess IT DOES work on Experimental (1.58)
is easy, some ships when they land the landing gear deploy after the ship landed, this is very noticeable on explorer and exotic ships on ground surfaces
Thanks for letting me know. Yeah it increases the speed of landing gear deployment animation. This mod fixes the bad timing of the original game animation when landing a ship anywhere on the planet outside the landing zones and landing pads. The ships (royals and explorers) would hit the ground way before the landing gear deployed and it was very annoying. So I fixed it. :)
i dont know if this happened to anyone else, but the landing getting stuck in the ground would make my character spawn inside of the floor in the atlas station getting stuck there because the game saved when i was inside the structure, i think this will fix it... (happened only to the royal s class ship, i dont have any explorer) thanks!!!
You're welcome. Hope it helps. Happened to me before on planets. Although on planets it happens because the summon is bugged (for Royal ships at least). When you summon a royal it sometimes ends up partially in the ground (game bug). I just take off and land again so it lands as it should and I won't get stuck or fall through. For landing platforms check if it landed OK, if not, land again and you should be fine. Enjoy...
