Warning! I didn't believe the other posts at first, but this mod deleted my re-enchanted weapon. Like the other people posted, seemed to be working just fine at first. Played for a few days, then several saves later it started acting weird. I noticed weird things when i hit my hotkey for my re-enchanted mace of Molag Bal and it wouldn't equip. I find it in my inventory and its stats are all weird. I save the game and think it will fix itself after quitting the game and restarting. I load my save and the mace is entirely missing from my inventory. I load the previous save and a few minutes in it starts to be weird again. I've only had the mace re-enchanted for maybe the last few hours of "saved game" time, so about a handful of saves. I wouldn't recommend this since you don't know how long you'll have to go back if an artifact/unique gets broken in your game permanently. This isn't the first time i noticed weird stats happen ONLY with items i re-enchanted, but it is the first time the item in question was purged from the game. Needless to say, i had to roll back saves and uninstall this to prevent the loss of my primary weapon. I'm going to try "enchantment mastery" to see if is stable. I can only heed caution for anyone else
I'm not sure about using/endorsing this mod, but if I do I won't go messing with Artifacts or Unique Items (the author was clear about this point). From your comment, I presume it was you that broke Molag Bal's mace in the first place!
I guess the real question about this is if this mod creates new and separate IDs for items that would otherwise only have an enchanted version ie imperial dragon armor
I was given the scroll when I loaded in, I go to use it, and all it does is open the scroll and it says "this looks like a spell scroll." it didn't teach me a spell or anything. Why?
If it reports the version of OBSE you have installed then you have messed up installing this mod. If it doesn't report the version of OBSE you have installed you have messed up your OBSE install.
The Steam version has specific files and methods used to start the game ... all covered in obse_readme.txt in the [Installation] section.
My second guess ... you installed using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). Using NMM with Oblivion mods will result in a mixed bag. Some mods will install fine with it and plenty will not. If you are an expert mod installer it would be simple to figure out which mods aren't working because NMM isn't able to install them correctly and which mods aren't working because you missed some little detail (like OBSE).
Not trying to say my second guess is the problem in this case ... I haven't even downloaded or looked at this mod. Just saying that if you are trying to use NMM with Oblivion mods get used to the idea you are going to run into problems. If you absolutely must use a mod manager then download and learn to use Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) (the help accessed from the Help menu is the best source of info on using it).
Can you Disenchant Leveled items and enchant them again with them still leveling? I wanted to add a second of soul trap to my lovely Hatred, but was worried. Please respond! By the way, great mod, isn't it?
BUG REPORT: I just downloaded this mod and started disenchanting items. I wanted to duplicate Duskfang/Dawnfang and then keep one disenchanted. Whenever casting the disenchant spell and clicking "More" the menu closes. Help?

You can find it here at Oblivion Script Extender - OBSE.
