Bloody hell! I know! Who would've thought I'd update it after all these years! Recent events got me thinking about the sorry state I left Vector in. To be honest, it's something that has always bothered me, particularly because of years of work that was put into it. So, I forced myself to find the time and fix the mod's most outstanding bugs. And I'm glad to say that v0.4 will now allow players to experience Vector like they were supposed to
Barring any particularly nasty, mod-breaking bugs, v0.4 will the new "final" release. I shan't be providing any support for it, except in the rarest of cases.
Set zzVectorVarsQ.fDiseaseResistanceMul to 4.5; Multiplier used by the resistance formula (default : 4.5) ; Formula = Number of infections * Multiplier * Max stage ever achieved(1-3)
Increase or decrease to make resistance building take longer?
Still CANT get rid of this mod. It kills all of my save games, so I'm forced to keep using it, even though it's extremely buggy (gives me stage 3 diseases IMMEDIATELY after I cure them, NPC's try to kill me if I talk to them). So if you don't want your save games totally held hostage by this mod, DONT USE THIS.
So the Champion's Death mod is no no no for the Vector. Can you elaborate more on conflict. Gonna have to disable it well there's also conflict with the new UV 3. It will be the pain but the right thing to do for the game stability. http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42649/?
How fare the compatibility with the new See You Sleep DLL? I remember that the first original See You Sleep wouldn't allow event that took during the sleep time to take the place. The new See You Sleep DLL has no such issues so far - I didn't notice because I use a few mods that add events when the playing is sleeping.
Alternatives to Death and Reload is a must have for me but after reading your indications seems totally incompatible with vector, right? Disease and death... sounds happy.
Ok, thanks. just wanted to make sure. I already turned it off in the ini in the zip file, but would have to slap myself silly if I was missing out on something.
While I understand you are no longer support vector, I do have a question I hope someone (either you or another user) could provide an answer to.
This is a changed made by Vector which I fear may have a compatibility issue with Losing My Religion as it makes a similar change.
Will the services provided by LMR's new NPCs cross-over to work with Vector's disease settings (since Vector changes diseases all around, while LMR simply adds new NPCs which provide the service)?
I'm hoping this is the case as I don't see why it wouldn't be, but I thought I would at least ask.
While LMR's additions won't cure diseases, Vector will automatically add its own cure disease dialog to the latter's priest NPCs (provided they are of the priest NPC class). So you'll probably end up seeing two dialog options - Vector's, which will correctly handle diseases, and LMR's, whose cure disease option will have no effect.
In fact, as far as LMR is concerned, the player will never be diseased as Vector applies disease symptoms in a different way.
The new version works very well except with the OBGE shader. If you get infected, wait until the disease is level 3, save the game, exit to the desktop and then reload the save the screen will go completely black after a moment. I believe this is because the OBGE shader is incompatible with the latest version of OBGE found here https://code.google.com/p/oblivion-graphics-extender/downloads/detail?name=OBGE_v31rc4.exe&can=2&q=

I understood the reference.
I got the lingo.
I received the meaning of your words.
I collected the machinations of your brain's playback features.
I did indeed see the bladder of the snake.
I ate the referential making of your mind.
I consumed the legendary thought that was your reference to said British TV series.
Welp, time to sit down, and go insane cause I have to rewatch the entire series again.
Thanks, you no good cretin.
