    Sadly incompatible with Better Cities (I assume, since that's the only mod I have that affects Cheydinhal). Rather than CTD when I try to walk in, or getting a black void, I just fall into endless nothingness.

    In addition, it does some... *extremely* strange things to Cheydinhal NPCs. The first time I approached the house, I found a literal crowd of about 10 NPCs crowded around the front door. Trying to move them (via the moveto command) just had them pathing straight back to the front door. I had this same issue with another mod that renovated the Abandoned House, so I have to assume it's a weird conflict with Better Cities.

    Very sad, as I was excited about this mod because I love the Cheydinhal house. Oh well.

      I avoided installing it because of the posts about it,but here's how i done it
      Play with better cities without this mod until you get to cheydinhal.
      Go to the count castle during the day
      Save.
      enable this esp.
      buy the house from the count and buy all upgrades.
      Get into the house
      It should be fine.
      Because i'm playing with it right now and seems all fine.

      I also use Better Cities with this, and it seems fine. I had problems with Immersive Interiors, but Better Cities doesn't seem to be affecting it at all. I was able to buy and furnish the house, no problem. Have you tried letting BOSS reorganize your load order? Sometimes that's enough to fix things.

      I installed this, and Side's other house mods, and they all exhibited strange behavior for me. Did all the suggestions in the ReadMe, and various support thread posts to no avail. Tried loading ONLY with the Official DLC & Unofficial Patches, strange behavior, CTDs, etc. Tried with/without COBL, etc. Same. this & Skingrad seemed to be the worst. Sadly I didn't have time to troubleshoot. I'm not criticizing this or any of Side's mods, the problem may well be on my end, but I've given up for the time being. The houses are beautiful though, so I'll probably get back to it at some point. If you find anything helpful, or works for you, please post back so others can be helped by your solutions.

      Did you try deleting the bathtub as Ordeiberon suggested? It occured to me, the last time I played, I did have trouble with ctd when I tried to go inside this house. But this playthrough, I replaced it with the tub from Basic Personal Hygiene and it hasn't crashed once. If you aren't familiar with the CS, I can walk you through deleting the tub. It's really simple.

      I haven't tried that yet, as the last time I had it loaded up was before their post. I'll definitely give it a go, I'd love to get these houses working. Although I like using the CS as little as possible, I'm pretty sure I can pull it off. I sincerely appreciate your offer though!

      I had trouble with the Cheydinhal house too. There was some sort of huge misplaced wall blocking off parts of the house. I disabled it in the console and everything was fine after that.

    Hey, I'm using the Immersive Interiors Landscape AddOn mod which conflicts with this mod. Mind fixing this or know a patch to it?

      I doubt it, the last thing they ever said to anyone was 6 years ago, same with the updates. Too bad too, because the home looks nice, but I too can’t use it due to compatibility issues, and that’s even with a Bashed Patch. It is hard to find a update for this home it seems to…

      All his house mods work fine if you let BOSS sort your load order; don't toggle BC open; do the bathtub swap noted in these posts. I've seen no conflicts with Immersive Interiors.

    To save load order slots, I merged all 4 of Side's Better Houses into one esp, using the CS. I've checked them all and combining them works fine since they edit totally different interiors. However, the Cheydinhal house has a conflict with something, whether merged or not; probably Better Cities Full. Inside the house you'll need to use the console to disable a huge wall that spans all 3 floors and hides various sections of the house; just disable it as soon as you walk in the front door and it opens up everything that was hidden on all floors. There's also a few patches of land & grass inside; a lamp post; and some rocks. Disable them all and you're fine.

    For those with a little modding skill who want a fix to the CTD I think I found the culprit.

    The claw bathtub.

    I found this by loading the cell after each house upgrade purchase and skipping over the one that crashed until I isolated the problem to the "house dressing area" upgrade. And in that it seemed it would be the tub, since that was the most custom item.

    I did a quick swap with the tub from the bravil house and it the house stopped crashing.

    Just a copy meshes\aaside\furniture\ruinbathtub.nif from the bravil mod and rename to replace meshes\bathmod\clawfoot.nif

    I found this out incorporating the main house into my own mods, so there still might be other meshes, but this quick fix worked for me. For other troubleshooting, I am not using the COBL or Bathmod addons, for this or my own mod.

    Edit 1: I found the copper tub (bathmod\bathtub01.nif) from Side's Skingrad mode works too, and seems to fit the aesthetic better.

      Your'e a champ. That did it!

      I have been able to use this mod with no problems for years, and then just today I couldn't enter it
      anymore (even though I had been able to do so before in the very same
      play-through).

      Changeing the nif-file let me enter my house again.

      I am using both COBL and Better Cities with this, and it worked always nicely for me.
      - for COBL make sure to remove the () in the COBL-patch.

    The furniture's not showing up for me in this one. I installed it the exact same way I installed your other houses, so I know I'm not missing any meshes or anything, but for some reason none of the couches or chairs are showing up.

      Check the readme, instructions are given:

      "if you already bought some or all of the furniture, load the game, open the console and type 'StartQuest SCH77'. wait 5 seconds before you enter the house"

    Just letting you all know that there seems to be a conflict with CanadianIce Morrowind Robes and Dresses for HGEC. Having the Robes mod active which adds a vendor to the Cheydinhal Inn causes CTD on entering the house.

    Can you please make this compatible with Better Cities? Or tell me what might be done to make them compatible? Your house looks gorgeous, but when I try to enter I fall in a huge black void and the entrace door is missing. Also, I can't light the candles and I identified the culprit to be Better Cities, which I will not deactivate for a house mod. Isn't there any workaround possible?
