New to modding here and not sure how to fix this. Downloaded the second file, no sun damage/no leathery face. Now, everytime I wait or sleep the dreams that are induced from vampirism do not go away. I can click out of them only to have another pop up in its place right after. Its endless.
I second this. The Skyrim vampire mods are the best, and yes, Oblivion is lacking either a hood or a full body cover-up script/mod to prevent sun damage.
Id like to point out that if you actually read any classic vampire literature (classic meaning not contemporary) you will find that vampires traditionally aren't adversely effected by sunlight to any great extent. It is mostly unpleasant due to the nocturnal eyes. In Dracula, it was said that he can exist in daylight, but being a nocturnal predator it simply was not his preference. The book Dracula was a rather interesting retelling (bordering on plagiarism) of the book "Carmilla" which was based on the real life countess Elizabeth Bathory, the Blood Countess of Hungary. She slept a few hours every day, and was up and about for the rest of them, as well as all night. She lived with humans and was able to hide her condition from her house mates, and even eat food. All vampire literature trickles down to us from that book, and all of the worlds myths and legends about vampires up to that point made it into Carmilla, though she scoffed at them smugly when a vampire hunter attempted to sell her folk magics against vampires... :p The only reason why Dracula is a more popular and better known book is that Carmilla was a lesbian, which was not kosher in the literary world until just recently. Thus, the "Crazy Irishman" Bram Stoker was able to blatantly plagiarize the book using a male vampire. The more dead looking vampires come to us straight from the pages of Anne Rice, who decided vampires should appear obviously not human in anything but the dimmest of lighting.
In short, thank you for the wonderful mod. Please dont credit Twilight for something most of histories vampire authors assumed to be fact. I.E. that daylight holds no special burny hurty magic.

Good mod. There is a bonus to this mod. The horrible sun glare you get when being a vampire is also gone.
The vampire mod I use has scripted sun damage and sun weakening.When installing that mod native sun damage is removed. For one reason or another a mod removed some of my vampire powers and turned my character human again. I cheat to become a vampire and cheat to add back my powers. I wasn't however able to remove native sun damage So basically I get hit with scripted sun damage and native sun damage. Using this mod removed the native sun damage.
So anyway this seems to be working perfectly for me.
Your mod is the only mod I have that changes vampires in anyway (stat wise). For some reason, after leaving and entering a cell (building/cave/etc) I open my console commands and it says something about my vampirism level being restored and set to 0. Is your mod doing that to my game?

incidentally, i don't mind vampires being weakened by sun light but being straight up killed by it doesn't make a good game.
