Yes, the reason why I wouldn't think of incorporating this in the Vilja mod is that it actually *changes the interiors of the inns*.
Vilja is a companion mod, as such she shouldn't cause any changes to the gameworld (IMO that is). I don't know how many companion mods I have dumped since I found out that they added buildings, worldspaces, new dungeons, etc etc all over the gameworlds, in places where I didn't want this. Vilja only adds herself and her friends, apart from this only a few mushrooms in a cave and a trapdoor inside a cave to a newbuilt dungeonsection. I.e. nothing that affects or changes Cyrodiil at all.
As the Companionfriendly inns mod works now, it adds extra beds, although these are mostly only enabled when the player rents a room. In some cases, I have slightly changed interiors of inns to make space for the beds.
Vilja however has a bedroll that she can use inside the inns if she is going to sleep there and you don't have this mod installed.
Very nice addition when having VILJA around: finally she'll get to sleep as well when the player rents a bed. It was very annoying indeed she couldn't sleep in the bed instead of the player Is there a specific reason as to why this feature shouldn't be integrated into the main Vilja MOD? Or maybe you simply want this option to be possible for any other companion the player might have instead of Vilja (as the title of the mod suggests)? Endorsed of course Kind Regards.
YAY! ive been having HUGE problems getting vilja to sleep. i think its because of the ownership thingy, so.... yeah. i had to pick a lock in the imperial city because she kept running into a door when i just wanted her to go sleep in the bed that i had just rented... "> thanks for answering the problem with a fix, cant wait to fire up OBMM and give vilja some much needed shut-eye ">
Hope this will work well for you
As for Vilja, she is also a member of Fighters Guild and Mages Guild, this in order to ensure that she can sleep in their beds. So, if you are out of money, you can always spend the night in the guildhalls, and she will also get a good nights sleep.

Emma: Great mod this one. Reporting an issue with Jerral View Inn in Bruma. Vilja will not sleep in her assigned spare bed, and tries to sleep on the bed in the next room (door is locked, so no luck for her)!
You mean the enemy campsites? Hmm... never heard of any mod that increases the number of beds there. But, there are of course plenty of camping mods, like for instance this one, that you could use to get additional bedrolls at the camps.
