This mod makes light, night eye, and torches so much more useful and pretty closely captures the darkness that older tvs would show with the console version of the game.
This and Weather - All Natural's Real Lights are now essential in my load order. Really improves an aspect that was really lacking in the base game, and finally justifies the existence of torches/night eye/light. I really can't understand why Bethesda feels the need to make supposedly pitch-black environments as bright as day, but I'm glad the modding community can fix that deficiency.
Really nice. All I did was increase the brightness to 20% due to older eyes. Goes nicely with Weather - All Natural's Real Lights addon. Now torches or magic light are useful.
When using Wrye Bash, I notice that one of the possible masters for the DLC compatibility esp is "Kvatch Rebuilt.esm" but that mod does not have an esm.
When building the patch, I just added the esp for Kvatch to the masters list for that part of the mod and then built the patch - is that going to cause issues if I ever get around to doing the main quest and then rebuilding Kvatch?
NM - Uninstalled. Say what you want about Let there be... but at least there are not a ton of lit areas where zero reason for being lit, or some he left in since the engine considering them lit even if you made them dark. Here, there are far too many areas the engine things in dark for the AI that are still lit.
If so I will rebuild the patch after removed my change, but otherwise - this mod needs a slight edit.
Is this compatible with Better Dungeons? If not I have to lean towards that and just turn down my brightness. Sorry, but remodeled vanilla dungeons is a bit more appealing.
