Alright, I tested out this mod all the way through the quest. It has no conflict with Better Dungeons like I had wondered. However:
The Axe of Cthulhu did not display properly when equipped on the NPCs nor on my Character. Maybe it has to do with my mod list.

I got stuck behind a rock trap and had to TCL my way out.

The quest is supposed to be about finding and stealing the Bible of the Deep, which I found easily in the chapel, so that was confusing. What I instead found in the final area was the Bible of Cthulhu, which was almost word-for-word the same as the Bible of the Deep, except it also wrote a threatening warning about stealing it.
Aside from that, it was a decent mod that made Hackdirt feel more interesting; the reward was cool; and any mod with ElevenLabs voices gets bonus points. However, it would be much better if some issues and quirks were addressed.
Some twisted thought has crossed my mind. What about giving the quest an optional ending where you join and serve the cult and it's master instead? As reward you can summon his servants to aid you in battle and once you have proven yourself you get a greater ritual power to summon himself, with the proper sacrifice. Plus you're no longer an outsider.
We could take this even further to an optional main story ending, where you'd summon the great master to clobber Dagon and take over the Imperial City. The populace will then become slaves to his will, with the regular citizens wearing the hackdirt brethren "outfit" and cuffs while the imperial guards are outfitted with the new armor to represent Tamriel's new ruler. I just like the possibility of different questline endings, like that Necromancer faction mod.
I am not really modding anymore, just modifying a few of my mods and cleaning them up, if you wanted to make your own addon using my mod you can try that, but what you are asking requires a lot of scripting and work.
No it actually should just switch the armor to the new one. If you want to you can uncheck the mod and replay it again if there is a problem. The Mod can be replayed if you uninstall it and reinstall.
I would suggest uninstalling the mod, save the game, then reactivate the mod and play the mod again. Then you will have the armor for sure. It depends on which version of the mod you got the armor. If it was before the later versions, the naming may be different.
Hello, im very interested in this mod, A Shadow Over Hackdirt is one of my favourites missions, but, i completed it like a two weeks ago. Its possible use this mod whastoever?
Yes! It isn't really dependent on the normal quest aside from getting the key to the new secret door in the caverns. You can use console commands to unlock it if you can't find it.
