   Noo follow the chronologic layout of the dmc story, if you organize it by time 3 is first, followed by 1 (as mundus corrupts vergil) then the anime would fit in after, then 4 and lastly (ew) number 2... If you watch and play it in that order, it all makes sense. Nero is just nero, who mysteriously gains a demon arm from his own past, and is capable or weilding devil weapons
