2. Requirements
===============
Requires Shivering Isles expansion.
If you downloaded the optional COBL or MMM+Cobl replacement esp, COBL v. 1.72 or higher is required. It's highly recommended that you use Cobl/Item Interchange,
as this spreads ingredients throughout the gameworld, and adds in other ingredients from past Elder Scrolls games. It also gives you access to more recipes and
vendors sell more cheese. And who doesn't want more cheese?
If you downloaded the optional MMM or MMM+Cobl replacement esp, Martigen's Monster Mod v 3.73b or greater is required.
Also, certain Skyrim Ingredients have effects unavailable in Oblivion, like Frenzy and Demoralize. If you want access to those effects you must install:
Magic Effects OBSE Tweaks -- http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/39226
This obviously requires OBSE.
========================
3. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN
========================
Installation:
The main archive is BAIN compatible. Drop the archive into your Bash Installers directory, and click on the installers tab in WryeBash to install.
The arcive consists of a bsa file and an esp. If you don't use Cobl or MMM, use the esp included with the main archive. Be sure Skyrim Ingredients.esp is
selected.
For OBMM users
The archive is OBMM ready. Click "Create" to create a new OMOD and activate to install.
For Manual installation:
Copy files to your data directory. Select Skyrim Ingredients.esp in the launcher. Play.
Uninstalling:
For BAIN users, click on the Installers tab and uninstall.
For OBMM users, click Deactivate.
For manual uninstalling, delete Skyrim Ingredients.esp and Skyrim Ingredients.bsa.
OPTIONAL FILES:
Additional files are available for download. There are three replacement esp's that you can choose.
* If you use COBL but NOT MMM (including FCOM, OOO+MMM, etc.) download the COBL optional esp. This file replaces the esp in the main download.
* If you use both COBL AND MMM (including FCOM, OOO+MMM, etc.) download the MMM+Cobl optional esp. This file replaces the esp in the main download.
* If you use MMM (including FCOM, OOO+MMM, etc.) but NOT COBL download the MMM optional esp. This file replaces the esp in the main download.
* If you want to use Magic Effects OBSE Tweaks to access new alchemy effects, download and install the CustomING.ini file from the optional files section.
Install ini file in Data/ini, overwrite old file if needed. By default, vanilla ingredients will keep their vanilla effects, but you can enable their skyrim effects
as desired by uncommenting them in the ini file.
Load Order/Bash Tags:
It's highly recommended that you use BOSS to sort your load order and Wrye Bash for its bashed patch (as well as installation) to prevent any changes
from being overridden. Skyrim Ingredients should have an "invent" bash tag, and if you do much cooking you may want a "relev" tag as well. BOSS will
add the invent tag automatically. Always rebuild your bashed patch when adding or removing mods from your load order.
=====================
4. PLAYING THE PLUGIN
=====================
Ensure Skyrim Ingredients.esp is selected, and enjoy!
4a. Cooking Instructions
The cooking system is menu driven and should be fairly easy to use. You will have to first find or purchase a Skyrim Cooking Pot and/or a Skyrim
Roasting Spit. (You can buy them from several vendors, including Suurotan in Bruma). Clicking on the item in your inventory window will bring up
a menu of items you can create. If you do not have the ingredients to create a specific item, you will be told what you need. Cobl's Silent Equip
Misc feature is recommended to avoid getting the "You can't equip that item..." messages.
The recipes are as in Skyrim. Roast mutton has been used instead of goat leg, as mutton is fairly common in Oblivion. Also Roasted Boar has been
added to make the roasting spit more useful. You can create a couple extra items, like grilled leeks and boiled creme treat, which can't be cooked
in Skyrim.
With the Skyrim Cooking Pot you can create:
Apple Cabbage Stew -- 1 Apple + 1 Cabbage + 1 Salt Pile
Beef Stew -- 1 Beef + 1 Carrot + 1 Garlic + 1 Salt Pile
Cabbage Potato Soup -- 1 Cabbage + 1 Potato + 1 Leek + 1 Salt Pile
Tomato Soup -- 1 Tomato + 1 Garlic + 1 Leek + 1 Salt Pile
Vegetable Soup -- 1 Cabbage + 1 Potato + 1 Leek + 1 Potato
Venison Stew -- 1 Venison + 1 Potato + 1 Leek + 1 Salt Pile
If you have the Cobl version, you can also create:
Boiled Creme Treat -- 1 Flour + 1 Chicken's Egg + 1 Milk + 1 Honey
Elsweyr Fondue -- 1 Eidar Cheese wheel + 1 Moon Sugar + 1 Ale
Steamed Crab Meat -- 1 Crab Meat + 1 Butter
With the Skyrim Roasting Spit you can create:
Cooked Beef -- 1 Beef + 1 Salt Pile
Venison Chop -- 1 Venison + 1 Salt Pile
Mutton Chop -- 1 Mutton + 1 Salt Pile
Roasted Boar -- 1 Boar Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Grilled Chicken Breast -- 1 Chicken Breast + 1 Salt Pile
Rabbit Haunch -- 1 Raw Rabbit Leg + 1 Salt Pile
Grilled Leeks -- 1 Leek + 1 Salt Pile
If you have one of the Cobl or MMM versions, you can cook almost any meat found in-game. The recipe is always 1 piece of meat + 1 Salt Pile.
Many meats yield Roasted Game.
Cobl Additions:
Horse Haunch -- 1 Horse Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Smoked Durzog -- 1 Durzog Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Roasted Rat Meat -- 1 Rat Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Smoked Baliwog Leg -- 1 Severed Baliwog Leg + 1 Salt Pile
MMM Additions:
Horse Haunch -- 1 Horse Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Smoked Durzog -- 1 Durzog Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Roasted Rat Meat -- 1 Rat Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Dog Haunch -- 1 Dog Meat + 1 Salt Pile
Roasted Game -- 1 Salt Pile + 1 of any of the following meats: Rabbit, Bear, Wolf, Fox, Guar, any wild cat (lion, panther, leopard, pahmer)

--------------------------------------------------------------
The mod will not touch the 30 or ingredients which are found in both Skyrim and Oblivion (though with different effects -- you can use Magic Effects OBSE tweaks
if you want to change Oblivion ingredients to have Skyrim effects).
At this time I have no plans to add pearls, small pearls, or moon sugar (as this is already added by Cobl and several other mods).
I also have no plans to add food items which are not included as of v.0.3 (e.g. Horker Meat, etc).
