extreme availability compared to other low weight stackables that always has a sell value, too cheap to buy and sell repeatedly relative to other low weight items. like yes players looking to actively exploit will find a means to do so, but for players not doing so arrows are too passively easy by comparison. oblivion doesnt have xp scaling based on value, cost etc but this stops being a simple and compatible option if you start delving into making mercantile care about such factors
Man, I do love your mod. It is simple, it changes ONE thing, not 100 and simultaneously breaks the other 100. Very neat description. I have been looking for such mod for a long time and could only find strange ones. It is my must have from now. You got my recommendation.
I feel particularly uncomfortable when I want a mod to solve a simple game error, but I only find mods that bring along with the correction many undesirable changes that change the way the game was planned, because I really like the vanilla game in general , but I don't like lots of annoying errors. Your mod promptly solves a problem in a simple and objective way, which is really good. As good as Ultimate Leveling for me
Your small fixes to the vanilla design are some of my most favorite.
Have you ever thought about implementing a basic system of dynamic gold for sellers? It might sound a little pointless by itself, but I consider it a valuable part of the experience personally. Both Morrowind and Skyrim handle it that way, and it makes logical sense too since merchants wouldn't have endless gold reserves. So you'd have to wait a few days or so for it to replenish.
Enhanced Economy does it I know, but it's more of an overhaul which I tend to stay away from, plus that's the only feature from that mod that I use.
No, this intentionally just implements a fixed version of the vanilla system, rather than overhauling it like the other mod does. There are already several mods that do that.
Just installed most of Through the Valley's mods today; great compilation by the way.
Wanted to test this bug fix since I spent hours grinding mercantile on a previous save without this mod; went to Mystic Emporeum, grabbed some scrolls and started duping them and selling the stacks. Takes less than 30 minutes to go from 0 to 75; don't think I'll push it to 100.
Quite OP, but of course it doesn't account for glitch exploiting.
((MERCANTILE EXPERIENCE FIX NOT WORKING)) - I FIXED IT!!
I'm having problems using it, and spent the last hours trying to activate this mod...
- After installing took me a while to figure out I would need OBSE as well for it to work. - After installing OBSE and running the game a dozen of times trying to make it work, I figured out I should be using OBSE_LOADER to run Oblivion, in order for this mod to work. - It worked, and I loved your job and started looking for more mods you made. But... - After installing "Simply Primary Needs, Balanced Creatured level caps, Balanced NPC level caps and retroactive health", this mod just isn't working anymore. - Actually not even Oblivion was starting, but I managed to fix it by disabling balanced npc level caps, since it needs shivering isles unnoficial patch - Now I just don't know what to do... how can I run "Simply primary needs, balanced creature level caps and retroactive health" while making the "mercantile experience fix" work?
I hate to be that guy but I spent the last hours breaking my head trying to make all of them work together and now I just don't know what I should be doing...
Nevermind, the mod itself alone isn't working anymore, even if I run OBSE_LOADER. I don't know what happened...
Just solved it by dragging the mod to the bottom. And now that I felt in my skin what happens if all my mods are disorganized, I'll put them in the order you typed, long time ago, in another mod of yours.

(Thank you for everything)
