This mod has been done before, namely by Aureal & Mazken Voices Restored, which this mod is clearly named after. However, it's been almost a decade and we've been introduced to new mods such as OCOv2 and Oblivion Races Unlocked. Unfortunately, due to AMVR being based on another race rebalancing mod, this threw a wrench in the gears if you wanted to only use ORU for it's less complex vanilla approach to introducing new races. The Race Rebalancing mod that AMVR is based on adds a number of changes that, while fun, make it hard to work with when using other mods such as birthsign replacers and character overhauls like OCOv2.
Description
This mod is a patch and does the following:
- Adds new Mazken & Aureal races based on the OCOv2 & ORU implementation with the applied voice fix from AMVR.
- Returns the Golden Saints & Dark Seducers to unplayable so they're left in tact with their voices.
- Integrates the greater powers found in AMVR.
- Returns all other races and birth signs to vanilla & OCOv2 standards and strips the extra content associated with RBP.
- Slightly rebalances the stats of Aureals & Mazkens, as well as their unplayable counterparts to match.
There are a number of issues with getting the voices of these two races going that make it difficult to work when playing as the races assigned to the NPC's of the Shivering Isles. I'm not going to pretend that I know the problem inside out like ZombieMold did when it was first fixed, but it involves triggering the Shivering Isles quest. Try teleporting to New Sheoth before starting the Shivering Isles quest, you'll notice that all the guards have the "I HAVE NO GREETING" dialog. Unfortunately when you just assign the race a voice path, your player character will have a voice but you'll discover that the NPC guards can no longer speak.
So, to get around that the .esp simply makes the Golden Saints and Dark Seducers of Shivering Isles unplayable and adds new playable races for the Aureal and Mazken that are completely unassociated with the NPC race records. Applied to them are the voice fixes and greater powers of AMVR with the graphics of OCOv2, implementation of ORU and a little bit of my own stat balancing aiming towards being lore friendly.

Known Issues
None yet, but there may be with load orders that I'm unfamiliar with. If you run across anything, please let me know and I'll try to work it out.

Permissions

Installation
Requirements:
*Aureal and Mazken Voices Restored
*Oblivion Races Unlocked
*Oblivion Character Overhaul
Straightforward BAIN installer package provided. Follow your standard installation process. Read the readme if you need more details.
Load directly after Oblivion Races Unlocked. Ensure ORU is being loaded AFTER OCOv2.
Ensure that A&M Voice Restoration for OCO & ORU Patch.esp has Eyes, Hair, R. ChangeSpells, R. Relations, Scripts, Voice-F & Voice-M as Bash Tags.
I strongly recommend you remove any Bash Tags from bgBalancingEVCore.esp from Aureal and Mazken Voices Restored so that it doesn't override anything.
Uninstallation
Uninstall, anneal and reorder to your hearts content. If you choose to not use Wrye Bash, stop, you need an intervention, read the readme.
