Just testing some textures to mod my game and these look way better than other texture mods. It fades in the places it needs to and no repeating textures (which I hate).
These textures are just great. As an experiment, I reduced them to 1k and they still looked quite nice in game. That said, I'm going back to 2k for maximum fidelity but it's a testament to how good these textures are that they hold up in a lower resolution.
it is magic! your ai textures are the best ,better than other manual retextures in oblivion and skyrim.
The new AI can retexture everything in oblivion and Skyrim (not the old AI upscaling from a few years ago, which wasn’t good). It’s better than manual retexturing and much faster.
Oh, man! Only 72 endorsements??? WTF? This is basically the new standard. A masterclass in retexturing. I've finally tried it and can't believe I've waited so long. It's exactly what I've always been planning to do. They are clearly vanilla style - the same colours, layout, etc., but turboed to the 2020's. I can see how much thought you've put to this. The size also is perfect - not overblown for no reason, but rather kept modest while you've squeezed as much as possible from it. I was afraid that normal maps would be lazy like almost everywhere else - based on the value of colour maps rather than on actual geometry - but no, they're absolutely perfect. Please, tell me you're planning to give a similar treatment to all textures in this game. :) I'm seriously blown away! I mean, I should've expected something like this from you, but this is beyond any expectations.
@Dutch666 A lot of mods for oblivion need you to use archive invalidation in order to work, just because of how oblivion itself is made. Vortex has a button for it on the dashboard to turn it on or off, which makes it pretty convenient to do so. I hope this helps :)
