The visually enchanted soultrap fixed doesnt seem to work on the umbra sword. I'm not sure if its just because its a unique sword or something. It has full charge and I see the default soul trap glow. The .esp for it is enabled so I don't know whats wrong...
I'm here 14 years later, you probably don't play this game anymore but I think what you did was you made a bashed patch and then forgot to re-enable the mod since the soultrap esp doesn't get merged (for some reason.) I just found this out myself so I'm leaving this here for anyone having issues.
Edit: Nevermind it seems you're right, I only thought it was working because I could see the effects when switching between 1st and 3rd person. They're not constantly working and the same goes for the other ones too. I ended up switch to this one.

Sweet! I've been using Visually Enchanted 2.1 and am really glad to see a fix for seeing the FX through walls (although I have to admit kinda liking it when I would enter a dungeon and say "Oh crap, look at all those flaming swords!") Thanks for fixing this!
I have a couple questions:
1. Which of these settings are the ones that you get by default in V.E. 2.1? I like those and would rather just select them to start with than muck about with all these options.
2. Is there any way to disable the effect on bows? I love how the melee weapons look, but I don't like the bow effect (having a bright glow filling half my screen when trying to see things in a dark dungeon doesn't work very well). I'm not afraid to use the Construction Set if there's a few settings in there I could go in and set to disable the bow glow.
woops, wrong comment on wrong mod, sorry. However, I was going to give this one a 10 also, I'm using it for a while now, and it seems to have fixed the bug.
Thank you so much! I loved the enchant mod until i noticed that see-through bug, so i actually tossed it away. But thanks to you I can now continue using the mod!!
