There's a bug in here somewhere that looses count of your rings. Right now if I take all of my rings off and put one on it tells me I'm now wearing 5 rings. It did this before, I uninstalled and re-installed the mod and it was fine again.

Simple but nice idea. Is there any code so my character can wear 2 identical rings like the mundane one for example? :-)

I can only suggest that you try opening your console after loading your save game and entering the following command to fix the counting problem (this will attempt to unequip all your rings):

    StartQuest NaturalRingsUnequipAllQuest

If that does not work for some reason, try removing your rings manually and entering this into the console to reset the count:

    set NaturalRingsEquipped to 0

Very good mod but with one disturbing bug. Mod dont cound the rings that are made at the enchanting "table". I had like 30 own-made rings on me but the mod said that i had 3. That was the number of original rings.

Alright everyone. The new version, 1.1, allows you to set the base limit. The base limit is the limit on the number of rings a normal character can wear. It defaults to 10. If you are a awesome mage, odds are you will be able to actually wear 20 because of the x2 multiplier given for magical characters.

Many of you expressed that the mod was not balanced due to the maximum it allowed. Well, you can change that to your liking now by setting the value of a global variable, "NaturalRingsBaseLimit".

If you think that 10 is too high (20 for mages and 15 for thieves), then set the limit to 5 and your mage will only be able to reach 10 rings, etc.

Use the following console command to change the base limit. Once you change this limit, it will be saved with your save games, so you shouldn't have to set it again unless you want to change it again.

    set NaturalRingsBaseLmit to <value>

    Enjoy!

    Hi all!

Thank you each for your comments. I'm glad to finally get some feedback. I, myself, have not had enough time to play and see the imbalance of this mod.

That said, I do plan on making a change that will allow the player to change the maximum possible rings to be worn. You will be able to set a global variable from the console and play as you see fit. This variable will save with your save games, so you shouldn't have to reenter it each time.

To answer koschwarz question about the mod working with custom-made rings.... The answer is both yes and no. This mod, like others of its kind, will work on any player custom made rings as long as those rings were made AFTER you apply this mod. Any rings made before applying the mod will not be considered due to the horrible hacking way necessary to check for the equipping of items (especially rings).

The only solution I can offer you is to throw away your custom made rings and cheat just enough to make new ones with the mod applied. That is, cheat to get just enough money to enchant another ring with the exact qualities of your old one. If you do that, the mod will work.

    Thanks again all!

Thanks for the great mod. I've been using it for a while, first I thought it was perfect, but now, at level 23, I think it's "too perfect". My ring limit is now 19! I'm simply just overpowered (using OOO 1.31 btw). I'm sort of a battlemage and haven't been playing just for +5 skill perks in mind, so I can't even blame myself. I think It'd be great if I could somehow change the settings my self, but unfortunately I'm not familiar with that. If I were, I'd just put a "divided by 2" in your formula somewhere, so the max limit would be 10. In my opinion 20 (or even 19) is too much.

ok, i tried this mod. works really fine, but unfortunatelly it also doesn't account the player made rings, as the other ring-mods do (i don't know if it possible at all in any mod)

so i'm sorry, but i won't use it, cuz i think even 10 rings for a fighter character is too much. and i have a custom-ring i made that fortifies intelligence. if i put on - accordingly the above mentioned thing - this ring is not calculated at all and i can put on 1 more ring.

so, the mod works as it is claimed in the readme, but if i wear all my stuff that fortify intelligence, i can wear much more ring than 10, with my fighter character.
