I know how to fix this, but the way to fix it isn't ideal.
If you swap the cuirass and the greaves positions on the player in the data (ie Cuirass>LowerBody and Greaves>UpperBody), it fixes this problem if you use the full set in a custom spell, but if you use just the cuirass or the greaves on their own, it will erroneously remove your shirt/pants. Realistically, this isn't a solution that works for all players so I would just wait for it to be patched by Bethesda.
Alternatively, using a mod that makes outfits/robes only use the UpperBody position (just search for "robes" and you'll find a couple that do this) also fixes this issue. The downside to that fix is you can't use custom enchanted robes because those are entirely new items with the default UpperBody/LowerBody positions (at least from my understanding.)
I think they're talking about how they look when you cast JUST the greaves. The greaves by themselves do have a visual issue that you can't see if you cast the full set, because the boots and cuirass both cover up the areas where the textures are missing.

using bound curiass while wearing any robes or full body outfit will not work correctly, it applies the armour but your character is topless

Could you try to fix that issue when you update your mod?
