    Im a bit lost as to what im adding from your description and where im putting it, please help :/

      You need to put the engine.ini from my mod and put it in the right folder at documents/myGames/oblivion remaster....
      Look in the description for the exact location.
      You don't need to do anything else in-game options.
      Hope this helps.

      I have it trying to replace another Engine.ini, this is where i have become stuck.

      replace the original engine.ini with mine and do a backup of the original! just in case! 
      thats all you have to do

    These are I believe the engine default cvars, whereas other modded engine.ini uploads to fix the upscaler issues use (what seem to be) custom CVARS, namely;

    [SystemSettings]
    Altar.FSR3.Enabled=1
    Altar.FSR3.FI.Enabled=1
    Altar.FSR3.Quality=2
    Altar.FSR3.Sharpness=25

      fr all the other ones wasnt workin for me so this is really clutch there was areas i was stuttering bad and only getting 22 to 58 frames it was unplayable now im getting anywhere from 110 to 180 fps

    I have it installed but it still won't let me activate FSR in-game. Is it supposed to be already activated?

      you dont need to go to the settings. its changed in the ini file.
