You're welcome! If you have any ideas or suggestions for other small tweaks like this, let me know! No promises, but I might get around to implementing some other stuff like this as well.
@Rikiaz Ah, so there was a reply after all. I got the notification last night but nothing would load.
I'm new to Oblivion so would need a little more knowledge to suggest tweaks, but I do have an idea: Either pause the game while using the hotkey wheel, or stop the hotkey wheel from preventing character movement.
The current implementation doesn't pause the game but it does root your character in place. So even if you are lightning fast at switching weapons the split second you are standing still can get you killed. Or at least it can in Master difficulty where most things seem to erase you in a couple of pokes. I don't know enough about modding to know if this could count as small tweak or if it is a hard limitation of the game. Just a thought.
Here is your request for spells healing over time. I didn't change the Expert or Master level Heal Wound spells, because they were already over a decent duration, but now the others range from 4 to 5 seconds as well.
I think you should change high level spells too. Because the whole point of this is not to be instant. They should be last longer for their increased healing effect. Good job btw
Well I kept them because they're already over time, but sure I can stretch them longer too. I was also thinking of adding a "Regenerate" line of healing spells that are low magnitude but long duration, but I wanted to wait until we figured out a way to add new names without having [NL] tacked onto them
It’s not part of this mod, it should be in the folder with all the .esp files already. Make sure you’re in the correct folder in your Oblivion Remastered installation.
Thanks for making this! I have no idea why the vanilla games like to make potions instant - it basically means there's no real value to having higher tier potions.
Quick question, does this apply to homemade potions as well as the standard ones you can loot and buy?

If it’s possible to do so it probably involves modding the Unreal layer and I have zero experience with Unreal.
Question: do you know if its possible to add a cooldown on potions, or make consuming a potion using stamina?
The idea being to be more considerate and avoid being able to spam potion use

Loving your spell mod btw, thanks again! 😊
Thanks for using the mods though!
