try and disable enemy spawning in very close proximity to the ship or reduce radius in which you can sleep.
more rooms to the ship to explore / expand your humble abode

upgrades for the ship, clean blood, hide body, get display cases, crewmates etc...
Heads up the cupboard is NOT safe storage flagged. Lost a ton of items had to reload a save 2 hours prior. Idk what the reset timer was because it seemed a LOT longer than 3 days, but the whole inventory reset
Same thing happened to me. I waited 5 days in game, fast traveled from far east to far west about 5 times, then went back to the ship. Slept another day, everything was still there. Left and did a quest or 2, come back to a cupboard with a spoon and a bowl inside of it instead of hundreds of alchemy ingredients.
Hmm maybe dunbarrow cove? There's that quest to rebuild it which basically turns it into a pirates smuggling den. If you also get a fast travel system with the ship working it'll be even cooler bc then you'll have your own ship outside the den, and inside you got a cool hidden smuggling operation going on. The life of a pirate!
Ooh, I like this idea. Tying it into that questline would make it a lovely reward. That combined with being able to move it from port to port would be an amazing experience.
i wouldnt mind it some were between the impirial city and layawin. pirates like marshes. or maybe the river below skingrad like say an extention of the pirate cove dlc.
Please add: 1. Vortex support 2. ship "sailing". My definition: It does not really move. When you click on the ship wheel on the helm, a pop-up appears and asks where you want to sail. Then you get a choice of some water-front town docks and when you pick one, the ship teleports there with all your stuff. In effect your "player house" teleports to places like: Bravil, Legwin and similar places. Maybe even places that are next to rivers.
1. Vortex support was already available, go to files then mod manager download but it should now appear at the top next to manual for the main version. 2. This is the solution that i'm currently looking into.
I was thinking, u coud revert the ship to a vehicle(mount) to move it in the water by activating the wheel and deactivating it revert the ship to a anchored ship house...
Agreed, will look into creating a pirate flag and doing the skulls, just busy with v1.4 at the moment but will get around to it, thanks for your support :)
For whatever reason when I exit the cabin after the latest update on a new save, I'm put behind the door inside the cabin, I'm out in the overworld but trapped inside the boat mesh.
This is a common bug with these sorts of new player homes / doors, working on a fix but for now you'll have to reload your save or you can just jump and you should be able to click E on the door, once in the interior just walk back out.
I tried that too. Jumping up to click on the door, it put me back in the cabin, then when I tried to leave, right back into the backside of the door. I could just fast travel to the prison afterwards though to get out, easy enough workaround till the bug is fixed!

Added new lighting, removed blood, changed note, 4 new chests, added some furniture, spellmaking altar, enchanting altar.
Dark brotherhood quest bug is fixed.
If you get stuck behind the boat in its interior once saving/reloading, simply fast travel to the sewer exit. [This bug is being worked on]
