Not to be -that guy- but 110% chameleon is achievable in game without any mods, but this does make it very convenient by containing it to a single piece of equipment.

I've currently got 105%, 4 pieces of armor with 20% (made at Frostcraig) and a necklace I found with 25%. It's not really that easy to make the armor at Frostcraig though unless you're Illusion skill is over 50 so it's kind of tedious casting Starlight constantly until level 50.

Thanks for making this, boss. I had a chameleon ring I added back in Oldblivion, but it doesnt exactly show up where it did there. Which could be a matter of missing art, but I think its more likely it got clipped into the table I had it on. Ah well. Thanks for this. :)

So it's randomly generated into any dungeon/cave/fort/mine etc container?

So the ring was instantly added to my inventory but upon equipping it my game would crash, even adding it with the code it still crashed.

Then I removed all my characters gear, everything no weapons/armor totally naked, and equipped it and it worked perfectly. Then put all the same gear back on and it worked fine. 🤷‍♂️ I then unequipped the ring and put it back on and tried this a couple dozen times and no crash.

No idea what that was about but figured I'd comment incase anyone else has a similar issue. Some weird conflict but it's working now at least.

This really works great, thank you. If you do not want to be permanently invisible you can equip it in a favorites slot and just click on the button to enable or disable it whenever you want to use the ring

But Vanto's Third Law states that it's impossible to render something completely invisible :o

i really like your mod.. it reminds me of the ring of power of LOFR..

shouldnt the ring have a draw back somehow? for example.. 100 carry weight penalty. thats just a cheap idea..or maybe..make you health drop to 10hp while you wear it xD

the ultimate drawback for my taste would be that using the ring.. ghosts...undead...and ghouls can still see you...and do twice the damage.
but this would play betther as a standalone mod.. that mods.. the chameleon effect so it doesnt work for ghosts and doubles their damage to the player if used.

just little suggestions, would make the mod so much more fun IMO.

great mod. thank you for sharing.

Hahaha you're good. It uses the magic effect Chameleon, which is separate from Invisibility in how it works. With invisibility (via potions or spells), if you interact with an object, door, or character, it disappears/makes you visible.

With Chameleon (110%, fully undetectable, and it looks sick too no outline), you can interact freely :D
