This pisses me off that they did this. The brown/yellow "piss filter" was a staple of the 360/PS3 era and made a lot of beautiful games like Unreal Tournament 3 look awful. Imagine making all this gorgeous art only to crap all over it smh
Nice proof of concept, but considering there's more areas than the outdoors, and it affects the HUD (thanks Reshade), I think someone should get to work on a mod that uses UE4SS or something and manually adjusts the color correction for each area of the game.
If anyone is getting an error installing reshade on gamepass make sure instead of choosing the Oblivion exe you chose the gamelaunchhelper.exe instead of Oblivion if you're getting an error about permissions.
Just incase anyone else with gamepass is having the black screen issue, I had to manually go into reshade in the menu and manually set the Effect search paths and texture search paths to just the folders you copied for Oblivion from installing reshade.
ex: my texture path is D:\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\WinGDK\reshade-shaders\Textures
I'm not an expert so i can't provide troubleshooting but i'm able to see the LUT now instead of a black screen.
This mod is amazing, works on linux if you install reshade with only the effects from this mod (otherwise it crashes). It brings the green back to the green, the fantasy back to the fantasy.

Could it be that Nexus is that much fragile to opinions and criticism?
