This mod has been working wonderfully so far - thanks! I've been using it with the createfullactorcopy command to make my own "custom" follower. Just one thing I'm trying to work around is the follower's detection of the player. I've been struggling to find a way to disable detection for an individual NPC so that I can still use the stealth reticle properly with enemies. Does anyone know of a command for this? Or maybe it's a feature you could consider adding to the mod?
My game crashes whenever I try to open my followers inventories from before 2.0 update, but I am able to access new followers inventories fine, unfortunate but not gamebreaking
Whenever I tell a follower to "wait here", walk a bit away (usually to steal something without any of my followers seeing), and then walk back and select "follow me" on the follower I asked to wait the game immediately crashes with a "Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x00000001e3000010" error every time. Everything else works just not "wait here" -> "follow me" on the same NPC. At least for me.

I don't understand. I have no such txt file in this directory. Am I supposed to make a txt file? And then type "add tbskHireNPCMod.esp" inside it or something?
Just leaving this comment here in case anyone is confused/dumb as I was, REALLY make sure you have the mod spelled EXACTLY the same as it says to in the description in the Plugins.txt file, I had mine as "bsk" instead of "tbsk" because I missed the t when I copy and pasted it
I was also wondering, is there a way to trigger an NPC that rides a horse to get back on their horse and follow you that way,when you the player gets back on a horse. The only way Ive found so far is dismiss them, so they return to the horse, then re-hire once they are on the horse.
Well, upon further playing, it seems sometimes they do but unsure what makes it automatically trigger it other than distance away from the Horse traveling NPC while they are off the horse and both following you?
Hello. I made a bug report for a different bug for the inventory sack, but also, I found another bug/quirk last night i figure people should know about. While already testing the previous(pre inventory) version of the mod(but probably still happens for this version i imagine). I found out loading a save without the mod being on(triggered by the Plugins.txt file) happens to just outright kill and delete any current followers i believe. Not sure what happens to them after that. I guess they end up in Ayleid Purgatory or something?
I found this out/had the mod turned off, because last night when reloading a crash, the game shadow updated and dropped a patch that effectively reset my entire Plugins.txt file back to default, making the mod inactive. When reloading the previous 3-5 recent saves upon reactivating the mod, the followers were just vanished in every save, as if Sheogorath himself snapped them from this plane of existence.
Not sure if theres anything to be done about this for future reference, no qualms from me as i dont think they were super important NPCs to quests or anything. I just thought I would mnetion it.
The one lady I remember was a Archer lady character whose name i dont recall, from Pell's Gate POI, she had some elven armor and some fancy magic arrows, idk if she is important. The other follower I had was Salene, from the Bloated Float questline, the bandit gang leader lady who gives you the Blackwater Blade. After she surrendered and gave me her sword I thought I would return the favor and free her from the same cell I spen t many a night in, of which I was successful. I thought they would make good companions for now, but alas they were not long for this world due to microsofts cruel malice of spaghetti code & updates.
