1. (PRIMARY USE-CASE) Load up your main game save (in-game), open up the creation menu via console, and update your sliders to match the ones in the provided images of the downloaded file. Alternatively, you can simply start a new game and match up the sliders as well.
2. (SECONDARY USE-CASE) Load up the provided save game file and play around with the creation menu that way. The second save game file is saved at the sewer exit, right in front of the gate that you click on and it asks you if you'd like to re-customize your character.
NOTE: I don't really recommend people actually using the provided save game files as their primary start of their playthrough. It was mostly provided as a means of playing around with the creation menu to see how the preset looks in your game, and to make any adjustments according to your taste.
This is because it's using a game-state that may differ than yours, and the only true way to ensure you have a crash-free experience, is to NEVER deploy game states that differ than your own. This is the same logic that says to never install/uninstall mods mid-playthrough.
INSTALLATION: 1. Download file 2. Copy/paste the save game file where your saves are normally located.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
1. This "mod" is nothing more than a save game file along with images to show you what the sliders are. 2. One does not "install" a save game file. You copy/paste it into your save game folder. 3. It cannot crash your game by loading into a mod manager. 4. I left the Vortex installation option ON so people can load the mod (metadata) into their mod manager for the purpose of automatically checking for mod updates, just like you would with any other mod with metadata.
I have a new update for this mod that will go beyond sliders and save game states. I think you'll like it, and I can add a wood elf element to it as well. More on this later.
Yeah to be 100% transparent, the only reason I added any save game file at all was so that someone can jump right into the Creation menu at the sewer exit and play around with the sliders-- not to actually use the save files for regular play.
Although I am kind of curious why the game crashed upon exiting the sewer for you because they were saved in a 100% vanilla un-modded state-- or so I believe. Regardless, ideally you would just load up your main save and use the console to open up the Creation menu and make the necessary slider adjustments from there-- no reason to restart a new game just for using the preset.
Hey there, I really like your imperial and have been trying all kinds of ways to get her mouth right but just haven't been able to do it. I would like to download this preset, but I have a request, if possible. Is there any way to get a save file right after character creator is complete while they are still in their cell and before the Blades and Emperor show up? I use another mod that places it almost as soon as you exit the cell. Going all the way back may be problematic. Thanks.
Sure! Give me a moment-- I'll have to unload my mods and start a new game, then manually adjust the sliders, so this will take me a few minutes. I wanted to update the screenshots and descriptions anyways, so no better time than now I suppose.
Okay I've uploaded v2.0 that includes fresh clean saves for both at the very beginning as you requested, and also at the sewer exit in case people still want that. The sliders are also of course contained within the bundle as well. Enjoy!
Nice job for what we have but she still looks 40 years old. Respect for doing decent looking female with this horrible character creator and models (and leather bag skin texture...).
Definitely the best one I've seen so far. My only gripe is that female shoulders in this game seem so large, but idk if that's more a thing with the specific armor sets I'm seeing.
The low-res screenshots and lighting don't do it any favors, but yeah I've yet to find a single preset that isn't dreadful. Let me know if you find one. lol Meanwhile, I'll be tweaking this to see if I can fix the rough skin issues that plague the non-beast races.
This is a good start, I'm still waiting for the inevitable anime-style face, hair, body and animation just like in the OG Oblivion i played when i was in College

But unfortunately, the savegames crashes for me when I leave the sewers. But THX for the pics!
