      the line disabling setstage is in Altar.ini, along with health regen.

   I already went through the entire dumbass process of GameSettingLoader from the other mod but i wanted to say i really appreciate you making a simpler version, even if you get less credit. Love you.

   I knew i was going crazy. the OG game DIDN'T have health regeneration yet the remaster does. absolutely insane because it makes restoration, alchemy, and beds all useless. Thanks for the INI tweak.

      It absolutely does not make restoration and alchemy useless. I have to use heals and potions like crazy. Play with a mod that makes enemies more difficult. You regen OUTSIDE combat, like Halo. That doesn't help you when you are at 1/2 health with 4 enemies chasing you. 
      
      That said, I am grateful for the ability to tweak setting with the ini.

   I was wondering if we could give this passive health restauration but for npc's as well to balance the game a bit more.
   
   Yeah that's not what the mod does but that would be great!

   On Windows there is a variable %username%
   
   You can edit the line to :
   
   

   C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows

   
   And it will open the correct folder directly.

    Do you mind telling me where you got those UE5AltarPairing.VOblivionInitialSettings from? I want to tweak other stuff as well but cannot find a list of valid variables to change.
