Would it be possible to get a slightly darker one? I feel like I'm being flashbanged every time I open the map. It might also make it slightly easier to see things on the map.
Edit: Much appreciated for uploading a darker version.
Would it be possible for you to port over Elven Map Redux and Elven Map For Shivering Isles? https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/3002 https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/16640
I have messaged the creator to ask for a port, or for updated open permissions. There is only a small chance they will still be online, but I thought it worth a shot.
what other Modder's have done in the past because of issues like this one where the Modder hasn't been online since 8 Nov 2024 or longer and cant be contacted is put a disclaimer on the ported mods page stating all rights and permissions belong to the original author textures meshes scripts all taken without permission because i couldn't get in contact with the original author. so they just credit the author for there great work and say if the original author contacts me and is upset by this i will take it down and apologise.
Modder's have had to do this in the past because sometimes some mods need other mods to work and function properly they couldn't port there mod over without some scripts and or meshes textures from the other authors mod but they quit modding or have a family they have to provide for so they walked away from nexusmods without a word or warning some leave a message saying goodbye do what you like with my mods i don't care and some have died how do you get permission then?
some Modder's use the question of ownership of mods if the original author edited and changed a games files using that game company's assets and software does the original author really own that mod even if the original author added there own made textures meshes scripts to the game the original author is still using the game company's assets and software to make them so does the original author really own there work? this question is on shaky ground because Bethesda likes to keep this question open after all isn't it Modder's that keep theses games alive for so long if not for Modder's Skyrim would have been a mediocre game by now but thanks to Modder's Bethesda got to re-release Skyrim how many times lol that's why they keep this question of ownership open because all Modder's are to Bethesda is free workers willing to work late fixing all the bugs and making the game more enjoyable for everyone so Bethesda makes more money taking advantage of there hard work passion and dedication to the fan base.
Finally, no more brown map. With my vision on the poorer side, the original map made it difficult to see map markers and my character's location. Thank you for this!
