It looks good, I'm grateful to have the fog and stuttering reduced. I'm not really sure why my system isn't playing well with the graphics in this game. I don't run a top-of-the-line system, but not low either (GeForce 3060/12 gb Ram, Ryzen 7 CPU with 64 worth of stick memory). Any ideas what I might try on my end? I tried to set all my Nvidia control panel setting with performance or balanced in mind.
I play Skyrim SE with a mod load of over 800 mods, and that's including my Nemesis animations and ENB. I've had more trouble with this remaster than I ever have with Skyrim. I'm wondering if it has something specific to do with UNREAL engine, not sure. Oh, btw not sure why but I had to put the file straight into the PAK folder without the additional mod folder for it to work with my game.
Well I'm not sure, but as all the other authors incorporated it into their Engine.ini I thought I had to create one, but you can just use the one from Chromatic Aberration which is why I created so many variants of the mod, plus it is compatible with the Vortex method.
The game has Chromatic Aberration and Bloom in many effects of glitter, metals, water, etc... as the torches and fires, what seems to be true is that it has nothing of Film Grain because I do not see that it seems to have.
Chromatic Aberration is a filter that applies to the full image, not just some objects. So either it's always there or not. And the "Bloom" is most likely the Lumen/Raytracing of the UE5 with to high brightness settings. In my game I had to reduce the brightness a little. Or are you talking about the bright sunlight when looking directly into the sun? Well this is normal and intended.
Usually I'm very sensitive to this effects and always directly deactivate them by ingame settings or config edits - but this game is fine.
I have not been able to prove in any way that the game has Film Grain so after some users commented that the game does not have this effect I have decided to discard the mod.
if this is engine.ini mod why do you pack it in pak...? i have disability or why i cant add lines myself instead of putting another useless pak in ~mods? no mentions what cvars you edited
This mod is not modifying any engine.ini and was created for those who do not want to be modifying folders in Windows or do not have access to them because they are hidden, is a simple method that is installed with Vortex and do not need to explain that cvars modifies because it is written in the title of the mod. It is simple and easy to use without scientific knowledge of Unreal Engine Console Variables Commands.
While using this, I noticed that the moon gets messed up. It turns completely invisible except that it can be viewed through tree branches. I have no idea why this might be. I was using the original version that removes chromatic aberration, bloom, and film grain.
I'm going to try the version that removes just film grain and bloom
Hey, just out of curiosity, the paralysis effect is crashing people's game especially when they level up archery and get the paralysis passive effect on bows. It's really bad when fighting daedroths inside oblivion gates, I'm going to have to go back to using a sword.
Is this something that is within your skill set to look into/fix? There are two threads on Steam and one on Reddit about it as of now.
That sounds like one of the famous BETHESDA BUGS, I don't think my knowledge of fanmodder can come up with a solution to something so complex, we will have to wait for the geniuses of the developers to patch the bug.
So after trying it, I honestly found it to be a little too sharp for my purposes. For games that use DLSS, I manually set the LOD bias, as I find it brings out detail in textures better than a sharpening filter. Would it be possible to get a version without it? If not, no worries.
Surely yes, but as only Chromatic Aberration, Bloom and Film Grain are eliminated, the result will be almost negligible because they are not graphic resources that consume a lot, this is rather for those who hate this type of effects.
