Oh thank GOD. Really don't like the new voice. Can you do the same for Gogron and Urbul? Wes Johnson did it so much better than the Skyrim orc VA they got back

For real. I got to Slash n Smash and the Lleyawin Bookstore and I wanted to cry, the new deliveries of the store intro lines were flat and soulless. It just ain't right.

Seconded. Wes Johnson did it way better, and I'd really prefer having the original voices back

oh my god thank you so much! I absolutely HATED the new voice, so much so that it ruined my day when I went to Cheydinhal to check on this guy :(

I told a bunch of first time players to go visit my favorite singer (without realizing they changed the voice), and now I look like an IDIOT!

    Thanks for fixing it haha

Does this mod have adjusted lipsync or is it using sync for the Remastered VA still?

Ah awesome, glad to see that this is possible and thanks for this. A lot of the new voice acting is great but there are some performances that I'm really missing from the original. Urbul gro-Orkulg from Slash 'N Smash just isn't the same.

What's the process to do this if you don't mind?

The change was done using the latest version of xEdit which now supports Oblivion Remastered, just a matter of swapping a flag and that's it.

You can do the same with Urbul, but he won't have any lip synching for several of his lines if you give him his original voice back.

Hi Noobatron! My apologies if this is redundant question, but could the same process be done in order to replace music tracks, like the explore tracks and battle soundtracks?

I wonder if it would be possible to convert the entirety of the dubbing (French, Italian, German) from the OG Oblivion to the Remastered version? It'd probably be a huge effort, no?

      @christianhulen
No because those resources are in the Remastered pak used by the Unreal Engine, something else entirely.

Matter of fact, I've been busy trying to figure that one out, but my experience with Unreal so far is very limited.

Why did they take away such a masterpiece?

Some people play for Jeremy Soule's music... Others for Aldos' voice...

It's weird how they kept all the other iconic lines unchanged with their original voices BUT this one. Even the "let me do that one again" mistake

At this time, the only thing I can say with certainty is the voices, sound effects are another matter entirely; won't rule them out, but someone else could very well take up the mantle by the time I get to it.

Thank you. A question completely unrelated to the mod if you would be able to answer - How feasible is it to revert some of the sounds from OG oblivion to the remaster? for example weapon hit sounds for various weapon types like Maces, or the old sound when you leveled up a skill. Are these things reverted easily?
