About this mod
Tweaks Oblivion's crime system to reduce instant guard reactions. Crimes won't alert guards unless they're nearby.
- Permissions and credits
- Guards don’t instantly appear anymore, unless someone saw the crime nearby.
- If no one saw it, nothing happens.
- If someone sees it, guards somehow know — but don’t chase you unless they were close nearby.
- Fewer guards respond to crimes in general.
- Horses don't snitch!
- Drop the file into: Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data Folder
- add "CrimeTweaks.esp" into the "plugins.txt" file and save.
- Done
What I actually changed:
- iCrimeAlarmRecDistance to 200 (they only react to closely committed crimes)
- fCrimeAlarmRespMult - lesser reaction to crimes
- iNumberGuardsCrimeResponse - less guards for crimes
- fCrimeDispPickpocket - how badly people hate you for pickpocketing (So they shouldnt instantly want to kill you)
- fCrimeSoundBase - how far alarm calls can be heared
- Horses Responsibility to 0 (they wont snitch)
