Great mod. Despite what some people have said, I can still see rain after installing this, and it's not causing me any drops in frames.

Did this mod improve performance while raining even though it doesn't actually disable it?

Why does the rain suck so bad in this game?  Not only does it look and sound like s#*!, it tanks performance.  Hopefully there will be some realistic rain/storm mods eventually.

The rain itself just doesn't even look good in this game IMO. It's way too sparse and unrealistic looking, like little crystals falling from the sky.

It doesn't seem to work during the battle of Kvatch. Is that normal?

Good stuff. After just trying to sleep through what amounts 140 hours worth of ingame rain I finally had enough. 50% of my FPS going into something that actively makes the gameplay miserable is insane and I'm thankful for this mod.

They definitely accidentally did not paste the full path. For Steam at least, .esp & .esm mods go here:

      "..\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data"

And make the change they described to the plugins.txt file in the same folder.
